Unfortunately your different perspective, specifically a Socialist view that government should allocate resources, tax at higher rates, and determine which companies win and lose is failing, naturally so, to achieve your desired result.
The correct perspective is competition, capitalism and open markets, not government control of markets. Trump's socialist trade and manufacturing policy has continually been objectively proven to have failed. As Socialist policies eventually always do.
