Seems like you could make some $$ with a trash/clean up business, I'm sure some burners would pay to have their mess cleaned. This would help with Reno getting trashed from all the garbage being dumped as they leave. 80,000 people leave a lot of trash, bikes, etc.

I would imagine that the owners of Burningman send out lots of money to different agencies to clean up the mess that is left in the wake of their citizens after the show is over.

A buddy and I tried to get tickets a few years ago, thinking we’d go for a few days. We were going to be the two old guys just staring at all the odd people and observing the crazy behavior. Alas, we couldn’t get tickets, and I’m feeling a little TOO old now, though I’d still like to look at the naked women.

no joke, the median age was 45 when I was going to burns in college. Way more older people than younger.

just go, its great people watching. Fair warning though its in the middle of BFE, so going for 2-3 days really would be hard (unless you have a chopper)

My brother in law went for a couple days or so. left Kentucky for Reno and jumped a shuttle to Black Rock City where my sister and nephews were waiting. My sister was there for a month or longer then came to Parker for a couple of weeks and stayed at Red Rock./Sandbar. I couldn't make it as I was too busy with work.

One of my buddys went for a few years straight. He worked the airport and camped in front of the Naked Yoga camp. I was supposed to go with him abour 6 years ago but he upped and died.
