The weekday evening are fun as hell back there. All 2 or 3 boats are cruising on plane and its fucking gorgeous! We've wake boarded out of the narrows before. Pretty fun!!
Back a few turns past where everyone used to tie up and party it opens up pretty wide back there and you can ski back there no problem. Almost to the waterfall.

I yes, I seem to recall some threads about his ankle mishap. If he had to get pins in that ankle that's a bitch.... may never recover flexibility. But I gotta ask..... did he lose the drone in the fall?About 10 minutes after these pics were taken, RD (whos flying the drone from Ken's 38 Gun next to Kelly's Tiger)was stepping from the blue Tiger to the orange and green and white Tiger and slipped and fell down into the boat breaking his ankle in 3 places. I think these pics gives him legit PTSD.

@Apex svt , what's the story on the Baja doubled parked on the toon? Lucky no one was at the dining table. BTW, awesome pics View attachment 887534
Sad happening there, hope families on both boats are ok and the driver. You and @Tank have dominated this thread with awesome pics and happenings, thank you my brotha.I’m still not 100% on what happened, other than it was 10 at night and he was cruising along and hit the dock. There were rumors he had a heart attack? Also that alcohol wasn’t a factor in this case, but it’s all hear say. It was at LOTO.
Boat Crashes Through Dock Roof, Driver Seriously Injured
LAKE OF THE OZARKS, Mo. — A wild crash left a boater seriously injured on Wednesday night, at the 28 Mile Marker.www.lakeexpo.com
You can run from Jax all the way to Lake George. No locks, no no-wake zones, no speed limits. It’s probably 100miles though. I launched in Palatka, it’s 45mi each way from there.can you run from lake George all the way to Jacksonville? Is their locks or is it blocked? The Jacksonville poker run looks like a great run. Bill pyburn does a good job with it. Don’t know if they’re still doing it though.
you ever do the inner coastal run from Daytona to fort Augustine? Amazing run! A lot of it is open speed limit too. Pretty cool running 100 in what is basically a harbor.
running back with philly lipshutz (Lipship Marine)
Any gators?
Not at all. This Cove is way too populated anyway. People have said there’s gators in the St Johns River, but I’ve actually never seen one myself.Any gators?
Gettin some serious hangtime! Some more random killer boating photos...

So cool... that vid where balloon is on waterline as you approach was the shit. I have a buddy who owns three of these things and takes folks up in NM and other spots where they have festivals. He tells me its insanely dangerous given uncertainty of wind conditions, power lines and lack of control. But I've met some of his fellow "Ballooners" and they're all a bit whacky and eccentric.
Castaic?View attachment 887939
Nice day today with the family. It was pretty windy but still better than working. Where we are floating is usually a beach, the lake is 5' above full pool.
I missed the email about it being rookie day today. People getting ready on the ramp waiting for an empty ramp (2 ramps 70' wide each with 2 or 3 trucks on them) to back down (after seen some of them backing up it was a smart move) 2 guys couldn't get their 28' Bayliner on the trailer so the lifeguards and Deputies did it. When I pulled up to the dock the guy in front of me tied up at the end of the dock so I pulled ahead of him (he looked at me funny). While I was getting the truck and trailer I guess someone launched, had their buddy push them off the trailer and then decided to start it. Well guess what, it didn't start and the wind was pushing it toward my boat luckily they were able to stop it. Up top wiping down the boat and some guy comes flying through the parking lot with a sailboat in tow dragging the mast through the trees. LOL ROOKIE DAY.
YupCastaic?
2 years in a row that it's been above full pool. I usually roll between 40-45 without any issues but I always make a speed run first thing on the west arm in the no ski area. It’s 5’ above full??? Damn! How the hell did they manage that? Just haven’t let any water out?
Only lake I’ve ever been pulled over for speeding on. Radar gunned!!

I remember boating on Castaic before the speed limit was enforced at all (before the HTM accident). Used to have a blast in our 24 Baja. But after they started cracking down on the speed limit coupled with us moving up to a 38' boat, I haven't been back in many years.X2 and havent been back since. The day I picked up my boat back in 2005ish I met some buddy's to go for a mid week hot lap and make sure it ran okay. I got pulled over within about 15 minutes of being on the water. The cop could careless that it was mid week and my 1st trip on my new to me boat- Please sign here....

I thought that was you, I'm Just as guilty as you, should have waded over and said hi.Couldn't agree more!!! Seems like its getting worse at Castaic. I saw the sail boat running through the tress also and the guys with the Bayliner. We must have pulled our boats out around the same time. I was like WTF is that guy doing!
I was actually anchored right in front of you with my family. I waved but I wasn't sure if you saw me.
Sunday was more of the same thing. I thought my BIL was going to get run over by another boat while his wife was trying to pick him up from falling while wake surfing.
But on a positive note, they has some nice talent at the lifeguard station. There was a new girl I had never seen before. Very nice. And always willing to help.
