The question had been since day 1, where did the information for the strike come from?
Well, the target was an employee of a US NGO...all the people the Taliban are killing. What are the chances the Taliban, being "helpful" as the administration says, gave the US the intel for target acquisition?

No only did he arm them, but now has killed for them...

Not in anyway a political response, but something for some here to ponder. The Sergeant here has a long row to hoe. The physical trauma he has endured, though horrific, is just part of his challenge. Once he comes off the sedation, the hard part starts. This is a man was fit, both physically and mentally. He didn't need help to do anything. Now, he will have to re-learn how to do the most basic functions. He'll have frustration in knowing he can do something, and not being able to. Couple this with the possibility of a TBI from the blast, and there is even more difficulty. A traumatic brain injury is often not an outward appearing injury...like a concussion, but worse. Things like forgetting basic math, or words while speaking, are fairly common. The person may also have mood swings, possibly due to frustration from knowing that "things aren't right".
If you're the praying type, both he and his loved ones could use them.
I have some friends that are disabled Veterans. I was not a soldier, but have dealt with my own injuries, including the threat of permanent paralysis and TBI.

Living and dying we all do. Living after what he has gone through, is something much different. The strength he'll need is not the same you build in a gym.

Our drone strike program has been a disaster from the beginning IMHO.

The stories the drone operators tell are cringey…like killing all of the people attending a wedding with a missile strike, because a known terrorist might have been there (he wasn’t).

We often have no idea who we’re targeting, based in many, many interviews with former and current pilots.

OK, so the US government said they had surveillance of the target for hours ahead of time. This was their stance immediately following the attack. Within hours of the attack, rumors were already on the web...the name of the aid worker, and names of the children.

Yet our government doesn't make a statement for weeks, and does so on a Friday night.

Some stand-up gents we have in office and running the show. "We're sorry we killed your kids. Here, have some money."

So we need to identify and vet the legal residents, but loaded whoever showed up into military jets?

The government are being dicks! Like a "Law & Order" plot, trying to scare off the witnesses.

You guys are domestic terrorist at best. They would not hurt anyone. They are anointing the man from all the good that he has done for the community and the child is displaying tears of joy.
