Heard this morning on the weather report that Big Bear is expected to get 18" of snow next week, terrible timing. Hope the little ones make it
Not stopping him from eating that trout! It's snowing now
Keep them warm mama
Yep, was just reading on that. Makes it real tough for mama to keep them all warm and sheltered as they grow. Fingers crossed for all 3!Assume if that 3rd egg does hatch, it’s going to have some very tough times ahead.
Only the strong survive, gonna be a real struggle for the youngest.Yep, was just reading on that. Makes it real tough for mama to keep them all warm and sheltered as they grow. Fingers crossed for all 3!
This next week is gonna be a rough oneWell they made it through the cold and snow and the third egg hatched! They’ve got they hands full now!
Tough f'n birds!
Do you think the Minnesota and North Dakota Eagles are laughing at the California Eagles?
Another video showed Shadow getting up off the nest (shift change) and accidently caught it with his talons. Chick was stuck for a second. Not sure if that was it or not.Looks like 3rd chick might not have made it.
Sounds like dad did this oneMother nature it is...only the strongest survive.
