Yeah the family dynamics of Bambi only exist in Disney's magical imagination. In real life I watched young squirrels trying to chew the heads off their cage trapped brethren. Of course I suppose I could have been witnessing a clever tactic to help their bro's escape by removing body parts ?

I have no proof, but because of size and personality, I believe you are watching chicks #2 and #3. Chick one was extremely aggressive and would even bite Jackie, the two left are much less aggressive.

The moderators just confirmed the surviving chicks are most likely #2 and #3. The smaller one is definitely #3, because the feet are not as developed, and the larger one is more than likely #2 because it's less aggressive. No reason was given why #1 may have died. Not trying to toot my own horn, but I guess I am. Just seemed likely to me.
