The way I saw it (hopefully I’m recalling it correctly), Trump was merely addressing the question about age by mentioning golf as an example of his physical ability. When Biden claimed to have a 6 handicap, Trump couldn’t do anything but call him out. Granted, he should have let that go, but Biden was definitely full of it. And, it was Trump who pointed out that they were both acting like children.
