Yeah that’s what’s called a BACN aircraft which allows tactical data link relays between aircraft that may have different data link systems. (Open source). An MC130J which is an AFSOC aircraft. Could be hauling equipment and/or personnel. There’s also been a constant air support coverage between an AC130J and an AC130W. All of this coupled with the multitude of US and coalition airlift aircraft going in and out. Interesting situation to say the least.
