Yea the enclosed trailer makes my life so much easier, hated having to load the flat bed trailer day of because I couldn't leave it loaded out front of my house overnight.
Thats where I’m at. Don’t want to load up the trailer till the night before. I need an upgrade

What do you use
Happy Campers, purchased at Spanky’s RV in Parker, always worked well for us. Keep water in the bowl. Seals dry out quick in this dry desert climate. Big holding tank dump is better than a number of small ones. In on our discharge line I included a clear plastic section, which enabled you to see when the holding tank was clean and discharging clear water. The jets on the holding tank are a big help.

Go around looking for Christmas trees and take as many as you can out, the kids will love to watch them burn!
That is what I am doing next weekend. Drag the small flatbed around and picked up trees on curb. I have an old metal stand we use to fire them off and keep them from falling.

Friendly reminder to move any camping chairs or canopies free standing or on Rv that are down wind before lighting Christmas trees. Well unless you want mini skylights in your canopies 😁

I used to use Happy Camper. Worked great, but CA blocked shipments. Went to a product called Unique in the new RV and it seems to be working well.
If CA blocked Happy Camper that stuff MUST be even better than I thought it was!

We mounted a TV in one of our large storage compartments which had an exterior door. Spent many nights, sitting outside, enjoying that. Summer and winter. Our 40’ 5th wheel ended up with 3 TVs. We used all of them.

Bought some tire irons and more tubes, loading the spare tires. I hope I don’t need any of it but I’m thinking for a longer trip in the desert better safe than sorry?

You’re doing great. Hitting all the right bases. Truthfully, I’m envious. Wish I could turn back the clock and do it all over again. Enjoy! Heated camp chairs may be a bit much. NO, they ARE a bit much. Just don’t let your wife and kids get used to them. That’s what a nice camp fire is for. Photos of your first trip, please. Randsburg is not exactly a Garden Spot and it can get crowded. Red Mountain, not for from Randsburg, is my wife’s least favorite place in the world. And we’d only just pass through there on our way to the Sierras. Good news, in an RV she could go back to bed and not worry about it.
