This is all about the pensions the state has to keep supporting. Similar tax initiatives for roads have passed in the past and nothing went to the roads. We need to vote out these democrats, but it will be hard to to with this liberal democratic State.

not that it will do any good
sent my objection and a little reminder of who sent them there and we are able to send them packing
next election cycle

if more people do this its possible to get a repeal out

Nope.... It's about a lot of things, not ALL about the pensions. That is a BS excuse that they use all the time. The pensions are part of the problem.... Many other problems, that are easily solved....

I was about to pull the trigger on a brand new super C RV (Jayco Seneca). Called this morning and told the dealership, due to SB1 passing I have decided to postpone my purchase.
Also my wife's SUV's lease is up. New one cost over 70k ($175 max increase in registration). Told her today we are buying out the lease and no new car.
Overreaction maybe, but I hate how this state keeps taking money thinking those successful folks can pay for everything.
