I always thought that I had good natured fun on there plus I would assist members at times and so forth. Led the charge for a few get togethers in the past and everybody enjoyed themselves. There was a long process on PB that involved people starting threads for the intent of free ES advertisement. In the face of PB just to piss them off. It's their site. They can make their rules.

An ultimatum was given to Extreme Steam.

When the next thread was started, the ultimatum was carried out. Now ES knowing full well what would happen posted 6 times in the thread. Hey see you guys at the lake thanks for the good words etc. Could just have easily said hey Tom, starting this thread is gonna be bad for you.

VoodooMedMan knew it was coming and spoke up. ES knew he would be banned as well as the person starting the thread. But chose to not say anything.

One of two things has happened. Either they both knew and didnt care
or only ES knew and chose to keep his mouth shut. Dilligaf got a slap on the wrist hopefully because of bad timing. Wrong place wrong time. Tom is obviously a great guy for giving props. And giving them on PB is OK most of the time. But not when the company is told it's excessive and to stop. Offered advertising space and becomes rude and hostile about it. A display of true character.

Absolutely none of that means it's ES reaponsibility. Just an overview of what happened. All of the "so what you are saying is this" in the previous posts is nothing but attempting to put words in someone's mouth and steer the conversation.

Free speach is a great thing. But that does not apply to privately owned web sites.

RiverDave is a great guy. Has a great website. And he will allow whatever he wants here. And I guarantee some things are not tolerated and people are shown the door.

The statement isn't exactly correct. I just posted in the thread that I was surprised that it was still there after a couple of hours. Someone asked why and I explained how I had posted the same thing after I got my trucks detailed and the thread disappeared along with any other thread that even hinted Extreme Steam in it. I later found out about some sort of vendetta against Extreme Steam. I wasn't banned though as I did nothing wrong and the beef is with Extreme Steam. Never did I imagine or write that DILLIGAF might be banned. If so I would have warned him. I also (just as you) do not believe he knew he might be banned. He got screwed so they could make a point to Extreme Steam.
