so to clarify, it is the burden of any company that is not an advertiser on pb to explain to pb members to NOT post "good job" on the pb site... Or not only will the member be given a vacation, but the biz is now a bad friend and vendor for not "looking out."

I was just commending you on you're insight of situations. Nothing more. It was not a read between the lines smart ass comment.

My gut feeling is: If it were not a setup pre planned posting well known that it was unacceptable. Then the company would have said something to their customer. We all have our differences in values and ethics. If my customer had posted something that I knew was unacceptable. I would have spoke up about it.

I tell you what. That's the #1 reason I come to these forums is because of the info on who to use for what and where to go and what's going on where etc. It's not like there is really any technical info on boating. At least not on PB.

I think that is why RDP will be the long time success for online boating content. RD "gets it" about online communities. he may own all of it, but he knows the site won't survive without members. It'd probably do just fine without angry 3 legged midgets, but who is really willing to risk that and find out?

I always thought that I had good natured fun on there plus I would assist members at times and so forth. Led the charge for a few get togethers in the past and everybody enjoyed themselves.
