And most guys who do off road have the absolute minimal lift to clear the tires. Lifted trucks are dumb.What is the practical advantage to a lifted truck? If you actually offroad with it, then there's one, but it's kind of a bad idea to be offroading your main driver/transportation to the offroad area severely enough such that a lift would be required. Most guys who have a lift don't offroad them anyway, which I always find amusing. Those mall parking lots can be killer, though.
Beyond that, there is no practical advantage to it. Cool factor, maybe, but the negatives seem to outweigh that by far.

That lift in my opinion is the best lift you can buy.. If this is your first lifted truck then go for it. You wont regret it. The feeling of looking cool and tough out weighs the negatives. Make sure the truck has amp steps. If not get them. Having good steps to get into the truck then hide away when not needed makes the biggest difference.Looking at buying a new truck and came across a lightly used 2024 Ford F250 with a full 5.5” Carli e-venture kit and 37’s. Upon initially looking at it I was thinking this would be killer but now am having second thoughts that 5 years from now I could wake and up wonder why I didn’t buy a stock truck. Price seems to be reasonable for what it has done to it but at the same time I could buy an equal trim new F250 or similar for the same cost. I plan to keep the truck 7-10 years. Truck won’t be used to tow heavy so that is not a concern. I’m 28 with no wife or kids if that plays into context as well.

Truck is at a dealer so time to see if they will come off list price at all. They have had the truck for a little over a month so hoping to try and get it down a few more grand…
Damn my dick hardmy truck has the 11" cst kit on it. I bought it with it so it is what it is, but if i was to do it again i would go with a 4" kit on 37's. I dont daily this truck, i have a 1500 on 35's i daily drive so the big lift doesnt bother me since i rarely drive the dmax.
