There must be more fags and cucks in this country than I thought.Fades away? 2024 Daytona 500 Sold Out!
There are a lot more road races now than there were even five years ago and nobody wants to watch fwd cars race.NASCAR needs to eliminate the homogenization and let each manufacturer run a car that is true to what they sell - race on Sunday, sell on Monday needs to be reinstated, get rid of the restrictor plates, but limit the engine size, run naturally aspirated engines, team's choice of carb or fuel injection, no EVs. This would bring the fans back in - something they can identify with and brand loyalty. If the manufactured car is FWD, it must run as an FWD configuration, no making FWD manufactured cars into RWD race cars. Points and money for the top 10 spots, you win on races, not some stupid points chase - every race is a points chase. Add road races to part of the equation, teams must participate in a minimum amount of road races for any end of season awards, this would show the racing world that these guys can also make right hand turns.

Haven’t watched in a while? They run 4 road courses, a street course, and multiple short tracks. Cars now have unique bodies much more resembling brands. Winning a race is heavily weighted for playoffs. TV viewership is way up and multiple races sold out last year, Daytona this year was sold out months ago(earliest ever).NASCAR needs to eliminate the homogenization and let each manufacturer run a car that is true to what they sell - race on Sunday, sell on Monday needs to be reinstated, get rid of the restrictor plates, but limit the engine size, run naturally aspirated engines, team's choice of carb or fuel injection, no EVs. Exactly - that may force the domestic automakers to build some real rear-drive sedans. I really don't know why Cadillac doesn't jump into NASCAR, the CT5 is the right size. I do know that they are involved with IMSA and LMP, but they don't use cars that consumers can identify with. Entering NASCAR would be an excellent reason to produce more of the CT5-V Blackwings and hopefully that would bring the prices down so normal people could afford them. There are a lot more road races now than there were even five years ago and nobody wants to watch fwd cars race.
NASCAR nope, they lost me years ago, political BS, race BS, stages BS, restrictor plates, coddled crybaby drivers with zero huevos.
Occasionally I'll watch the road courses where real driving skills are applied.
I do watch F1 & IRL but mostly recorded and fast forward through most of it till the finish, the Indy 500 is the only thing I'll make a day out of it, I've always enjoyed it since I was a kid.
Someone is deleting their posts, Cucks and Fags, well OK whatever.
Here goes,
Wife and I have been following for close to 30 years and have been to many tracks from Richmond to Fontana.
We’ve donated to Victory Junction, Best Friends, and the Betty Jane France foundation, among others.
For the past 5 years we’ve been guests of Alex Bowman at Phoenix. With seats in the ALLY Suite including catered food and free beer and drinks. We’ve also been given VIP passes and have met or at least seen most of the drivers, owners and teams. My wife is still giddy over Jeff Gordon. The teams and drivers are are very approachable and willing to talk when they have a chance. Everyone involved is Patriotic. Some races and tracks are better than others, and the rule changes might not seem good at times, but I doubt NASCAR ever made a change to intentionally make a race less entertaining, it just turns out that way sometimes.
I think the poster has their own issues to deal with.According to post #53, you and your wife must either be a fag or a cuck to like Nascar....LOL....so which is it?
The opposite of that was California/Fontucky. They’d get so strung out after green you couldnt tell there was a leader and a guy all the way in the back. It would be a complete circle of cars, droning like bees. I’d fall right to sleep in the stands.I FUCKING HATE RESTRICTOR PLATE RACING! Let's keep them bunched up so theres a wreck.
NASCAR may not need the commercials but I’m sure FOX likes the $$$$$$.I honestly don’t understand why NASCAR has commercials in the broadcast. You’re watching 40 some cars all covered with company logos. If that counts as advertising I don’t know why they need commercials.
There called Stages and they are worth points.Don't watch much but am today. What is with these planned yellow flags, seems kind of gay. F1 and Indycar is way better.
William Byron in the 24 car won it. Followed by the 48, and the 20 (Bowman and Bell, respectively).Well........who won the damned thing? I saw it momentarily at 24 to go. Then i was on to the next shop. Soooo who was the lucky winner?
Yeah after Bowman triggered the crash that took out all the frontrunners that were the ones who really had the cars to beat .William Byron in the 24 car won it. Followed by the 48, and the 20 (Bowman and Bell, respectively).
Pretty good race, how'd you do?Cup Series driver here, Eliminator owner and long time lurker of RDP. Quite frankly the sport is better than it ever has been. Our current cars make for some exciting racing to say the least.
I was a casual Nascar fan but now I really enjoy F1. We watched most of the Daytona 500 and I was kind of sirprised that I knew so few of the drivers. With the Daytona 500 up on Sunday, was just curious if anyone really cares anymore? I used to love that shit up until about 2 or 3 years after Dale died. I dont think you could pay me to watch a race anymore.
How long before it just quietly fades away?
Thank you DHR..William Byron in the 24 car won it. Followed by the 48, and the 20 (Bowman and Bell, respectively).
Rick Hendricks Racing also celebrated forty years in NASCAR!Hendrick Motorsports finished 1st and 2nd, and it wasn't either of their golden children....lol
Bahahaha LOLOLOLOL you are correct fella especially for those two, ohh but wait they know how to turn right but as a whole BASSCAR wins in the crybaby department.Lol...coddled crybaby drivers applies to F1 even more....Verstappen and Hamilton are both the biggest crybabies ever....
^^^^^ this!NASCAR naps, watch the start, fall asleep, wake up for the last 10 laps. Great rainy Sunday
That certainly crossed my mind, but he had so many likes I thought I'd go ahead and ask the question.Clean air = Grads
Super cool you're on here. I'm gonna guess Gilliland, Herbst would have a Hallett... I'm at the Landing, and was Chino Hills. Saw all three Gilliland generations race together at Irwindale.Cup Series driver here, Eliminator owner and long time lurker of RDP. Quite frankly the sport is better than it ever has been. Our current cars make for some exciting racing to say the least.
