Havasu.

It's a straight hurricane at my house in the foothills.

Looks like some possible rain inbound too.

You gotta stay out on the water at that point and find a protected cove...you can't leave your boat on an exposed beach... maybe they were away and not paying attention but that is unfortunate.... Remember parked at Nautical Beach in a Houseboat with our 28' sleek craft moored next to us...middle of the night still likely under the influence but got the boat off the beach and just drove it slowly around heading into the wind until it passed .....it was pitch dark...

That was rough. We were above the sandbar and saw it coming. Jammed back to the docks and needed 3 people to help get in our slip.

A center console MTI w 5 500’s got caught in the wind and smashed into the corner of the slip.
The white and blue or red one?

How did it compare with the time we were in your pool?

Looks like LHC caught just the southern tip of this weather system. LV, Searchlight and Dolan Springs appeared to catch the brunt of it. Reports of snow in the LV mountains.

The island was crazy , quite a few boats in trouble . Hope everyone made it out safe . Thought a tritoon was going down . Captain beached it like a champ where he started bailing water . Sea Tow was towing a boat and the tow line snapped or came loose . Cops told everyone to put on life jackets and abandon ship . They swam to shore as the boat blew away ., Sea Tow then went to retrieve the boat . Sad to see and hope everyone out there is safe .

Just saw the sheriff going after someone blowing through the no wake
Man I’d take the ticket for blowing a no wake zone in bad conditions and imo it’s about only time that I would say it’s ok to do so.

50' MTI would be a fun ride in a haboob.... that boat can take a lot bigger...

That's some crazy stuff...... always amazes me after the event, people say, it came out of nowhere...... ah NOPE it was expected. if you don't follow at least 3 weather sources when going on/on the water...... you are doing it wrong. Some days, it's quick research in the morning and as long as the skies look good all day as expected. . . . it's all good. when the picture doesn't match the forecast. Research. I know I have got off the water more times and the weather system hit the doom and went away..... instead of the system coming in. I am okay with that.

Hopefully everyone is okay, I wish harm on no one. I also hope any damage is minimum.

We were at pirates and my cell finally got service and saw the storm cell moving in. We closed the tab and hoped on the boat. We barely missed the edge of storm at the pipeline bridge. Then we out ran it down to the island which then the storm ran back up on us. But either way we saw it getting black and ran at 80-110 to out run it to only get hit again.
