Marin County FD, all staged up.
Must have been 60 or more engines and another equal amount of supervisor type pickup trucks.
Hopefully these guys are in route to assist.

It looked like this last night from my front yard, but the CalFire copyers stopped it quick.

The week before there was a fire in the same spot, but it was during the winds, and that one went straight to evac orders.

These homeless hawks are out of control, I believe it's the fourth fire within the past year.

These were assigned to the clay fire, think it was around 50 acres in the river bottom.

Both my family members who live in Castaic have evacuated. One lives on east side of 5 (don't know exact location), the other, my cousin, on west side of 5 (near the Ralph's @ Hasley Canyon Rd).

We just skirted the systems a bit. My daughter is by Ralph’s where we were at. . We are up by the west ramp. And now home. With ours fingers crossed. And power still on.

no... this one was a homeless guy...

Just south of us, had a bird's eye view of the aerial while bogged down in the traffic mess on 15 south. Wife works nearby, most the company staff had a view of the action. Talk was, there was a homeless camp in that draw where it started.
Considering the large number of fires started mysteriously at the locations of these 'Camps', to bad we can get some reporter type to, investigate how many and where and run a special on it through a media that even the Homeless Do Gooders couldn't ignore.
