I think the opposite... As long as the little ones keep happening its releasing pressure so the BIG ONE does not.

At least that's what I tell myself....
I just want it to come to get it over with lol

Had an earth science teacher in the 90's. Older than dirt, second career. He'd been a geologist for oil companies. Smart guy, and pretty well off, didn't need the teaching job. He told his students the same thing you believe. Many small earthquakes are really good. The movement being more constant helps to release the energy. If there is nothing notable for a long time, that same energy is building up.

I can remember all of my teachers, but there are very few that I remember the lessons they taught.

Enjoy the weather as long as you can until Cali plunges into the ocean .

Just a slight shake in Sunland . If Cali breaks off hope it stops at Sun Valley so we get ocean front here .

As long as the big one stays near the Valley ;)

Then maybe us IE people will have beach front property 🤣
I'm hoping it will drop the whole state in the deep blue! Then all of us Vegas people will have beach front property haha

If we pay more taxes will they stop? (Asking for a friend).
The logic is…they import illegals bc it adds weight to the plate thus holding it down vs allowing a big earth quake….but you mr taxpayer gets to fund this experiment bc and pay for the illegals imported to
hold down the plate!!!

Felt it in D-bar...just a mild roller. I heard creaking and the dog looked up with mild interest but that was it. NBD.
