Dam you Californians..
bringing you earthquake stuff to NV

I felt it. Daughter sitting next to me didn’t—but I don’t think she really knows what they feel like.

Oh wow, almost literally on fire...

Russian volcano erupts sending ash 5 miles high after region suffers 7.0 magnitude earthquake

Russia's Shiveluch volcano spectacularly erupted after a 7.0-magnitude earthquake jolted the eastern coastline, the state-run TASS media outlet reported.

"According to visual evaluations, the ash column is rising as high as 8 kilometers (5 miles) above the sea level," declared TASS on Sunday morning local time, noting that the volcano spewed out lava flows.
"The volcano is approximately 280 miles from the coastal city of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. According to TASS, the Shiveluch volcano has not caused "major damage; nonetheless, "buildings are now being examined for potential damage, with special attention paid to social facilities."
TASS indicated that no injuries were reported and did not issue a tsunami warning, though residents have been forced to evacuate the area after the earthquake shook the region.
