Half of it is the same, other half is brand new. There is only so many ways out there besides taking fire roads lol. I am making some adjustments per daves request

9am works. I’m driving over from Vegas in the morning. The extra hour after a night downtown could be a life saver.

Yeah, low 40’s without wind chill isn’t gonna be t-shirt weather. I may pass the “submission/approval” process with the wife for a windshield / heated seats.
We did Pilot Rock above Silverwood last weekend. Got a little lost and didn’t get back until dusk. It was pretty damn cold. Wife has a 12 volt electric blanket that she said worked great.

I have heated seats and they keep my ass toasty!! I also just got the windshield and should be in Havasu on Wednesday before the trip....

Anything I’m missing? We’ve only done short, day trips. When we went from boating in Blythe/Needles to Havasu we didn’t have an anchor and nearly enough fenders. Just trying to avoid any oh shit moments.

I’m going to bring 2 sets of horse shoes for Saturday, we are also planning to do some plinking and maybe a ride on Saturday ....

One night will be burgers and dogs and one night will be carne asada night. Also going to get some beans, rice, chips and salsa from La Tolteca in Azusa. We will also be getting food for breakfast one morning and food for lunch. We’ll front the bill and then just divide it up this weekend. Just BYOB

It’s a lot of prep work for a ride this far out and back. We have been getting the car ready, trailer ready and spending more money than we should on this deal. It was one of the most fun trips I had been on last year though and we are really looking forward to it.

Started our trip with a quick stop in Vegas first. Day started out a bit rough. Leaking water pump on the Silverado called for a plan B. Little work, lotta holiday party and an early Friday morning coming up.

Hi Everyone, Heather here. All the food has been purchased and we are ready to roll! The total was 400 even for everything. That includes 2 dinners, lunch on Saturday and Sunday, breakfast one morning (I think we're having breakfast at the restaurant there one morning) and snacks. I also got paper plates and plasticware. We can just divide the 400 between everyone once we all get out there. Remember, BYOB. And huge shout out to WMC for getting all the carne asada and marinating it for us. Hopefully he'll be willing to bbq it for us too! Looking forward to a fun weekend with some awesome people
