So weirdly enough you'd think that because I own a boating website I'd be more into tech than I am.. Truth be told I'm the guy screaming at my phone because I can't get the fucking blue tooth to work in my truck or portable speaker. I have always had a saying that "computers are just an expensive desk lamp to me" and that pretty much best fits the description.

Racey and others have talked in depth about AI / Chatgpt / Deep Fake both voice and video.. I never put much stock into any of it up until now. Stacy was playing around on the internet the other day and asked Chat GPT to write a description of that new Development she's got called the Sands. It's the water front lots in the other thread. She didn't put in that much information, and this thing spit this out in ten seconds.

Unparalleled Waterfront Living - Your Dream Come True

Imagine waking up to the soothing sounds of gentle waves and feeling the soft white sand beneath your feet. Your dreams of coastal paradise are no longer just fantasies - they've become reality in this extraordinary development, a culmination of over 30 years of anticipation and planning.

Nestled just south of the iconic Needles Bridge, this prestigious development presents an unrivaled opportunity to experience waterfront living at its finest. Boasting the largest expanse of deep water boating available, you'll have the freedom to explore and navigate the waterways all the way to the Parker Dam. This is a boater's dream come true.

Each generously-sized lot extends an impressive 55 feet of waterfront, ensuring that you have direct access to the azure waters that stretch out before you. But it doesn't end there – the sheer depth of these lots opens the door to create a truly grand residence, with space for all your desires. Whether you envision a sprawling luxury home, a charming retreat, or even a guest house with living quarters above a toy barn, the canvas is yours to fill.

With nearly half an acre of potential at your fingertips, the possibilities truly know no bounds. And if you dare to dream even bigger, the option to acquire multiple lots and construct a private compound with your very own launch ramp awaits.

The convenience of this community is unparalleled. A private launch ramp ensures that getting your watercraft in and out is a seamless experience. Jetty structures have been thoughtfully incorporated to gently calm the currents, making docking and launching an effortless endeavor. And let's not forget the refreshing allure of the water itself, sourced from the Davis Dam – perfect for swimming, floating, and relishing those carefree moments.

All essential utilities are readily available, including electricity, water, and sewer connections, making the process of building and settling in an effortless journey.

This is the pinnacle of riverfront living – a community that has been meticulously designed to meet every desire, every aspiration, and every longing for a life lived on the water's edge. Don't miss your chance to be a part of this unparalleled experience. Your coastal paradise awaits, and the time to seize it is now.

This shit should be illegal. I had heard about kids cheating on essays and other college things with this technology.. I absolutely believe it now. I went down a rabbit hole yesterday of seeing some of the shit these things are capable of, and wow... Just wow..

I don't know how society comes back from this, because it's gonna get (if not already) impossible to differentiate tech from people. These things can fake your voice, write essays, poems songs, create music, fake a video with you in it. It is unreal, and extremely scary when you think about people using this tech for nefarious reasons.

Super concerned for my kids future.. or hell even my own?

This is just the beginning. Look on the bright side.. you won't have to scream at your phone anymore. 😂

You need to prep yourself and your kids. Life is gonna be drastically different in 10 years Dave.

Have a look at all the "girls" in the "Good Morning" threads... A bunch are AI generated. 😂

Ask chatgpt to "draw" a picture of anything you think of. Words and linguistics are somewhat regulated by rules and patterns. F' me, my son typed in "steam-punk robot in the forest...and it did, entirely too well.

A college professor failed his whole classes term papers be cause he asked AI, “ did you write this”.
It answered “yes”
Another professor sat down and wrote a paper off the cuff.
They asked AI, “did you write this?”
It answered “YES”

The wife needed a 100 word letter describing our business and like your wife she answered a few questions and away it went. As amazing as it is scary, that's for sure.

Like I said in the FTM threads, a coworker of mine uses it to write sales solicitations on his piggyback sales apps.
It’s absolutely real, and hackers and scammers are absolutely using it.

I've been using it more and more in my business with great success.

A lender I know of, but don't use, had it develop a plan to get his wife to do a threesome... that was his way of determining if it was good at research. It spit out a plan that he said would actually work....he started using it everyday after that. I don't condone that, but I thought you guys might get a smirk out of it.

Remember how you used to need a ton of internal memory on your phone? Now you don’t need much cause everything can be stored on the cloud then just accessed through your phone.

Maybe mental knowledge will be like that in the future, you won’t need any, in a few clicks or taps there it is, one big brain everyone shares

Never heard of that before, just looked it up, very interesting, how did you hear about it?
I’m the weirdo alien guy. 😉
Been researching our origins and existence for many many years.
A good example of tapping into this is Indian mathematician Ramanujam.
Like many “geniuses” in our society and history he credits all his knowledge as being imparted to him during his “sleep” by other worldly sources.
Even Einstein spoke about the same thing.

Some are open to it, some refute anything their mind can’t grasp.

Watch this whole thing, and you'll be more than just "scarred".

AI is the real deal NOW, due to the massive amount of computing power available today.

Prior to 2023, it was just a pipe dream. Now it's exponentially increasing in what it is capable of doing...

People are using AI every day and not even realizing it. It’s getting exponentially better day by day. The world is going to be unrecognizable in a few years. And we all thought the future was flying cars lol
And there it is…the irony, and the trap.
“In a few years” has already happened if compared to
“a few years” ago. It’s relevant.
While we wait for this or that to happen, the continuum is always there.
In a few years we will be saying the same thing.

Just curious. Is it smart enough to cure cancer? Or the common cold?

Maybe...

I read something recently how it did 50 years of research in just a couple of days.

The results were NOT kept private and were made available to the entire medical research community.

Who knows what's next...

unless those records enter a black hole, is that information lost forever? Hawking radiation, the black hole paradox . . . who knows 😀

Honestly looks like any other high dollar property advertisement with your blanks filled in...not so hard when you have literally millions of property descriptions to plagerize...in an instant. The whole internet is it's database.

Ask it to cure cancer...then I'll be impressed.

Death cures cancer.
AI doesn’t necessarily distinguish.
