In 2017 the shooter graduated from Plano High, a half mile from me, and he lived with his parents in Allen, a suburb north of Plano.

El Paso is 750 miles from here. Why would he go there? Probably some screwed up ideas that will come out after his Facebook account is scrutinized. It always seems to be obvious the shooter is mentally ill after the fact.

The news reports about his father working at Timberlawn as a psychiatrist are outdated. The hospital was shut down in February 2018 after its license was revoked by the state. He now owns a psychiatric practice.

I was wondering the same thing about the logistics.

And there it is. Connection to The MIC, intelligence, military, psychiatry or combinations thereof. Wind up shooters and patsies groomed and controlled then set loose waiting to go off. The patterns, sorcery and gematria are always there. It always stinks.
Rule through fear. Divide and conquer. Give them no rest and no quarter.
Reminds me of when I worked with the Basque sheepherders. The coyotes would come and terrorize the sheep. Kill bunches of them, disappear and watch. They'd hit again randomly till we staked the area out and killed the fuckers with mini-14 ranch rifles. It's the only way to stop the terrorists drunk on bloodlust. At least the coyotes were doing it to eat.
These coyotes do it to the sheep for shits and giggles.

The electronic ones actually amplify ambient noise, and only shut the sound off when its above a certain decibel.
Been shooting a fair amount. Had quite a few AK pattern rifles, and was never given "proper instruction". Many rounds down pipe, but just recently started to wear "eyes and ears". What type of fucktard goes in to an enviornment as an aggressor, but would try to block out not just their rifle, but also ambient surroundings? Don't know or care about the politics, but figuring the shooter has more issues than just a few.
Kid was messed up. There is no one magic cause. Pray for the victims and their families. Be always ready to protect what's most important to you. Some prick may try and take it, or them.

A question for the more sane and intelligent inmates here: If a suspect is dead, there is no expectation of privacy in regards to medical records, correct? If so, would that be a reason some of these "random" shooters walk out in cuffs?

It'll be just like Vegas. Eyewitnesses will report multiple shooters then disappear one by one in tragic accidents. We'll all ultimately chalk it off as a coincidence so we don't get called conspiracy theorists

As terrible as it is, hating on this kid and the other Incel social misfits obscures the rational mind with emotion. Look beyond the kids/young men for clues and answers, Why are these kids turning out this way? Who are these people? Kids are not born like this, they being are created. Never trust the controlled Mockingbird media, you know they fucking lie and have an agenda. They glorify and plaster this shit all over making these kind of wind ups want to get their 15 minutes of fame and attention. Question everything and use critical thinking. There is more to these shootings than we are told and meets the eye. Look for the patterns and connect dots. There is an agenda at work here. Look around people. Not just look, observe. they are destroying our boys and young men. Look around. They are all (there are exceptions but less and less over time) weak feminized overweight low/no testosterone boys. Look at the weak soy boys pushed in the media. Weaklings do not fight back against the powers that shouldn't be. Chicks do not want to fuck boys/men like this. Never have, never will. They want alpha males. This builds seething rage against chicks and the alpha males. A lot of them are bullied by chicks and other alpha males. Toss in Jedi mind fuck drugs and social media rejection on hand held black mirrors, Monarch and MK Ultra mind control techniques and it gets dangerous. Hi level sorcery going on. They do most of it now with chemicals in the "food" and water, electromagnetic wave and Theta wave subliminal implantation. MK Ultra is old hat, they are way, way more advanced and weaponized now.
Misandry, self loathing, female rejection and brow beating, chemical castration, estrogen mimicking hormones and cuckoldry is what these young boys are subjected to from birth by the media, video games, TV, Hollyweird, marketing propaganda, commercials, music and fucked up narcissistic parents.
Don't believe your lying eyes, look the fuck around.
Sorry to piss on peoples Cheerios, but it is real.
Nah, actually I'm not sorry.

Do not believe in coincidences. It's all by the numbers. Conspiracy theory is a term conjured by the CIA to delegitimize, shut down critical thinking and smear people that questioned the utter bullshit of the Warren Commission on the JFK hit. It causes people to self censor in fear of being labeled as kook. Very, very effective wordspeak wizardry and mind control. Conspiracy theories are only that until they manifest into reality by then, its too late.

Sorry but this proves more a point to carry a firearm, open or concealed, than for gun control. There will always be bad people in the world wanting to do horrific things to the innocent, and they will continue until they are stood up to by the masses.

Nope. The guy in this video confirmed himself as full of shit. He said "the shooter was dressed all in black with mask and shot at him, but he ducked." Yeah right. The shooter was wearing tan cargo pants, black short sleeve shirt and yellow shooting glasses and muffs.

It'll be just like Vegas. Eyewitnesses will report multiple shooters then disappear one by one in tragic accidents. We'll all ultimately chalk it off as a coincidence so we don't get called conspiracy theorists.

Majority of eyewitnesses are full of shit, like this lady, who AP and other outlets are quoting:
Adriana Quezada, 39, said she was in the women’s clothing section of Walmart with her two children when she heard gunfire.
“But I thought they were hits, like roof construction,” she said of the shots.
Her 19-year-old daughter and 16-year-old son threw themselves to the ground, then ran out of the store through an emergency exit. They were not hurt, Quezada said.
She said "she saw four men, dressed in black, moving together firing guns indiscriminately."

Police later said they believed the suspect, who was armed with a rifle, was the only shooter.

The man suspected of killing 20 people and injuring 26 others in El Paso on Saturday may face hate crime and capital murder charges, officials said.

Police say a document they believe was written by the 21-year-old white male suspect has a "nexus to a hate crime."

The four-page document posted online espouses white nationalist and racist views. It rails against immigrants and Hispanics, blaming immigrants and first-generation Americans for taking away jobs and for the blending of cultures in the US.

"Right now we have a manifesto from this individual that indicates to some degree he has a nexus to a potential hate crime," El Paso Police Chief Greg Allen said at a press conference.

FBI El Paso Special Agent in Charge Emmerson Buie said more investigation is needed before determining that the mass shooting was a hate crime.

I doubt that's accurate. Businesses cannot forbid licensed gun owners to enter their property unless they follow the requirements of the law.

Texas state law requires the following notice to be posted at all entrances to a property that forbids open and concealed carry. If this had been the case, the media would have picked up on it hours ago.

Texas Penal Code § 30.06(c)(3)(A) requires that the sign prohibiting concealed carry contain language identical to the following: “Pursuant to Section 30.06, Penal Code (trespass by license holder with a concealed handgun), a person licensed under Subchapter H, Chapter 411, Government Code (handgun licensing law), may not enter this property with a concealed handgun”.

Texas Penal Code § 30.07(c)(3)(A) requires that the sign prohibiting open carry contain language identical to the following: “Pursuant to Section 30.07, Penal Code (trespass by license holder with an openly carried handgun), a person licensed under Subchapter H, Chapter 411, Government Code (handgun licensing law), may not enter this property with a handgun that is carried openly”.

The signs must include the exact language above in both English and Spanish, be printed in contrasting colors with block letters at least one inch in height, and be displayed in a conspicuous manner clearly visible to the public.

Hate crime laws are idiotic. This guy is going to be sentenced to death for capital murder. What's the f***ing point of charging him with a hate crime?

There is a decent percentage of the population who enjoy having smoke blown up their assets.
Personally I like piano wire for executions. It is reusable and easy to maintain.

'I saw four men, shooting everywhere,' Quezada said."

Just a comment. There was a discussion here about how this would never happen in texas. Well, it did
I believe the discussion was that CCW would be a deterrent and had a higher chance of an armed citizen stopping the shooter. No one said a shooting would never happen in TX.....

And that theory has proven to be completely wrong. Yet another act of hate & domestic terrorism. My heartfelt condolences to all affected. Lord have mercy...

The shooting happened in a state with a strong gun culture and laws that allow guns in many public places (concealed carry, open carry etc).
"The shooter knew he was walking into a situation where a lot of folks there could be carrying a weapon". "That didn't stop him. The answer is not more guns."

I wasn’t being sarcastic at all. In a place like Texas I would have expected something like this to end well before police showed up

It was at a bar. you can’t concealed carry in a drinking establishment. Clubs and bars are essentially gun free zones.

The mall is a designated gun free zone.
And by extension so is the Walmart.
I’ve been in that Walmart many times.

Makes sense. I didn’t see anything about a bar... I thought it was a Walmart.

This won't stop until the left gets what they want......A society of people dependent on the government, a big brother / 1984 type society. They are systematically trying to strip our freedoms and it starts with the one way we can defend ourselves, guns.

Not 48 hours later and they are already using these shootings as a platform in their campaign against Trump.

You are probably correct. Regardless, this country has a serious problem. You and i are just voices, frustrated ones at that.

By the way. Im not anti gun or CCW. I believe we all should be able to do what we want and have rights.
Something has changed in this country in peoples heads. Everyone is just more angry

I posted this in the other thread:

It’s to the point where concealed carry is a given, imo.
I don’t care what motivation, or political beliefs are involved, it’s up to those on scene to end it, it seems.
LE simply can not respond in brief seconds. Maybe by chance here and there, but overall a well equipped motivated person can kill scores of people before the call even gets made.

Having said that, I must say I cringe every time I see the phrase “mass shooting”.
The closest actual FBI term is “mass killing” which is defined as 3 or more deaths in a single attack.
The term “mass shooting” was coined in 2013 by the reddit group “guns are cool”, an ironically named gun control advocacy group, and is now the standard phrasing used by all media outlets.
It’s purpose is to place the “starting point” focus by society on the gun, not the individual(s) responsible for the attack.
Whether this affects LE’s starting point regarding investigation I can’t say, LE has their own policy and procedures, but it certainly and effectively distorts LE’s interaction with the media and society’s perception of events. It almost immediately puts LE on the defensive regarding press conferences etc. as all focus begins with the weapon rather than the perp and motivation.

“Mass shooting” could be used to describe WWII, for instance, but it doesn’t tell you much about the war.

It is a term that dumbs down the populace and has no benifit to investigation and causes separation between LE agencies and society.

Ahhhh, noticed that too? None of the surveillance footage is EVER released on any of these events. All the way back to the first World Trade Center bombing forward. Bits and pieces the fit the narrative like Columbine but, never any real footage. Who's responsible for these decisions? The FBI. We all now see what they really are lately. Coincidence? I don't believe in them.

Mulvaney speaks with sense rathr than political rhetoric. Video in the link is wort a watch.

https://www.yahoo.com/gma/crazy-peo...-mulvaney-132405391--abc-news-topstories.html

Acting White House Chief of Staff Mick Mulvaney said that no politician, including President Donald Trump, was to blame for shootings like those in El Paso, Texas, and Dayton, Ohio, which left at least 29 people dead this weekend.

As Democratic presidential candidates point the finger at the president's divisive rhetoric, Mulvaney said on ABC's "This Week" that the suspect who allegedly killed 20 people at a Walmart in El Paso, Texas, appeared to have been motivated by beliefs he harbored before Trump became president.

"This was a sick person, the person in Dayton was a sick person," Mulvaney told ABC News Chief White House Correspondent Jonathan Karl, during an interview Sunday. "No politician is to blame for that. The person who was responsible here are the people who pulled the trigger. We need to figure out how to kind of create less of those kinds of people as a society and not trying to figure out who gets blamed going into the next election."
Pressed by Karl on whether Trump was at all to blame for using words like "invasion" to talk about illegal immigration and saying congresswomen of color should leave the country, Mulvaney said Trump was just as saddened and angered by the shootings as others.

"There's no benefit here to trying to make this a political issue," said Mulvaney. "This is a social issue."

He labeled the gunmen in El Paso and Dayton "crazy people" who "should not be able to get guns." The Dayton gunman, who died at the scene, killed at least nine people, authorities said. Dozens of people were injured in each attack.

"Sick people who are intent on doing things like this should not be able to buy guns legally," Mulvaney said.

Today’s shooting in El Paso, Texas, was not only tragic, it was an act of cowardice," President Donald Trump tweeted overnight. "I know that I stand with everyone in this Country to condemn today’s hateful act. There are no reasons or excuses that will ever justify killing innocent people."

After the Ohio attack, he tweeted that "Information is rapidly being accumulated in Dayton" and noted the law enforcement response "was very rapid in both" Dayton and El Paso. "God bless the people of El Paso Texas," he added. "God bless the people of Dayton, Ohio."

In March, asked by ABC News' Senior National Correspondent Terry Moran asked the president in the Oval Office if he thought white nationalism was a rising threat around the world.

Trump replied, "I don't really. I think it's a small group of people that have a very, very serious problem."

(MORE: President Trump says white nationalism is not on the rise across world, 'it's a small group' of people)

Pushed by Karl about why the president has downplayed the threat of white nationalism, Mulvaney said white nationalism is not as big a threat as "international nuclear weapons."

"I don’t believe he’s downplaying it. … Look, this is not the same as international, sort of, nuclear weapons," Mulvaney said. "This is a serious problem, there's no question about it. But they are sick, sick people. And the president knows that. Again, Jon, I don't think it's fair to try and lay this at the feet of the president."

I guess I'm a bit paranoid, or at least un-trusting. I don't believe the official stories, and also don't believe all the theories. As far as defensive nature in crowded places, I try to be aware of my surroundings. Exits, walls and general construction, such as concrete or drywall.

What does always get me though, is how accurate these untrained shooters are. Usually a guy can dump one or two mags, and it's over. So, somewhere between 30-60rds down pipe. Close to 30% accuracy on moving targets in a fluid environment, in a structure they usually aren't acutely familiar with.

Walk into a field with a herd of antelope. Dump a mag and see how good you are. Even in an open field, with no cover of any type, most would not do as high a percentage. Reaquiring targets under duress in quick succession is not easy. A 5.56 rifle would make it a little easier, but not so much with a 7.62 and little to no training.
