A pretty sick Mini Boat!

Hey guys... what's the guinness record for fastest 11ft boat?
It would be fun to challenge it!! I know my boat is close to a jetski in setup, but it's a jetboat, not a jetski!!!!

When Ron Hill invites INBOARD MINI BOATS to his races, LOOK OUT ! In the mean time all of us INBOARD GUYS will promote the outboard mini boat races as we should do ! Racers helping/working with racers ! IMHO Ron is working hard to promote 'low cost racing', in our area. WE must help him all we can if we expect to promote this sport in any way ! The MINI ENDURO is a great way to promote boat racing in this area.(liberal southwest) Ron and his friends are trying to promote any kind of boat racing and I feel they are going in the correct direction ! I am trying very hard to put a boat together for this race.

I know they are stupid fast, but how fast are they?
The record should be about a single hull boat... let's say up to 12-13ft no matter what kind of drive.
Who knows how fast my boat will end up being?? My boat has the same weight as the fastest jetskis (9ft yamahas with Rotax engine) and those are going 100-105mph set up right, so my boat sure has some potential!!
I have yet to try the boat with a suiting prop, alone in the boat and lass fuel. The fueltanks takes about 20 gallons...

Dave, I built a few 'one offs' back in the 80's, and the inboards will run FAST if given a chance to race on a course. I'm trying hard to get a boat out for the 'enduro' in Indio, even if it's an outboard.

By the way the boat is doing fine. Had to rebuild the exhaust... So now it's a bit quieter but still fast as rabbit on steroides

82mph with passenger so far... Still in the prosess of tuning the engine for maximum boost.

I'm the owner of this small piece of madness.
This is actually Norways fastest 11ft boat

It's all homemade...

It does 80mph++ with me and a passenger, but there is still much more speed potentiale left in this boat. I'm aiming for 85-90mph this season.
The engine is putting out about 330-350hp, but is currently on the rew-limiter due to too small impeller.

Fantastic video!

I love the low speed stuff. You can tell the engine is just barely off idle and you're cruising along, on plane, at 20mph. When you're on the throttle, you can tell it's moving along quickly.

That's a cool looking boat!!
I would do the same as I did... 1500cc rotax with jetpump!!

My next project will be the PROJET 19.
It's a fiberglass "RIB", but it's all fiberglass.
It's gonna be a nice boat for fishing, diving and going fast.
The engine will be a 300hp rotax 1500cc with jetpump.

The SUB is on hold for now... But not forgotten!!
