Badass, what is the distance between the transom and the back of the seats?

It's so damn easy... Took me one day to get the ski-part in...
The hole boat was made in 4 month, and almost everything is custom.

Well...it is final. Lake Lice + Mini Jet Boat = 1 sick bastard.

I guess that is what happens when you boat on a fjord. :D

Awesome picture series. :thumbsup

I have a couple of questions.

Is that the hull mold I see in your shop?

Second, what is the material you're using as braces beside the engine? It looks like a composite of some sort.

Thanks man

Yup, that's the mold I made... I made the mold from a boat my father used to build and sell a few years ago. The mold was a pretty big job itself...

Im mainly using polyester and fiberglass for the hole build, but I used epoxy and special fiberglass to bind the jetski part to the hull.

I'm glad I missed the gay pic.. LOL

Trond, I don't know that anything about that is what I'd call "easy." LOL..

I love the boat though, and I love the work that went into it! I'm not sold on the steering wheel, but different strokes for different folks.. ;)

Can you video other angles of the boat? Perhaps one facing the driver from the dash, and facing forward?

As well can you take a better picture of the dash and put it up?

The steering-wheel only moves about 80-90 degress from left to right, so its very space-friendly... and it gives that little jet-fighter look :D

I will make more videos as soon as the spring is here... I also have some more performance parts going on ;)

This is the best dash-pic I have so far...

You should seriously think about upgrading your tow vehicle to a Jeep. :D :D

I know i know... I gave the "good" car to my ex when we split. I wanted her to have a safe car when she's driving with my son. ;)

I'm about to build a house by the seaside, so the cheap car suits me very good right now:D

Not the jet project yet. But the new mini kat molds done and ready to lay up some boats. I'll be retiring my old mini that I have been running to try doing the jet setup like we talk about.

We were building yacht tenders with all Yamaha motors and pumps in the late 80's. We built about 450 boats and then Jim Slemons went BK and that was the end of that...

Used a boston whaler hull as a template, cut it up a bunch and went from there...:p

check out the utube vids......it's no slouch-80+mph...@3/4 throttle!

3/4 throttle doesn't mean 3/4 power, in fact in many forced induction applications a throttle position beyond 3/4 won't add any manifold pressure, so it's basically full throttle. ;) :thumbsup just a little bit of trivia for ya :p

I know.... and i mean @ 3/4 power, not throttle position ;)

If I'm easy on the throttle I hit the rew-limiter @ 80mph with only 14-15psi boost @ 8650rpm. The throttle position is a little above 1/2...

I want to run 22-24psi @8400-8500rpm.

As you can see in the latest movie, the hull is very stable now.

Well it's kind of fun to race the local speedboats... Only a very few of them can do around 80mph, so they are quite surprised when the 11ft rocket pass the much larger boats :D
It sure turns some heads during the summer

What was the material you made your lifting strakes out of? It looked like angled fiberglass?

I noticed in your river vid that the porpose was considerably less that before, in fact it only seemed to jump when you really got going.

Is that from being aware of when it will porpose or did you add tabs or change something on the bottom?

Yes the porposing is totally gone... and the scary chinewalk...

The thing who mainly fixed it was the rideplate and also a little from the tabs, but the tabs are mostly for rough and windy days.

The new rideplate is a fullsize Seadoo aftermarked rideplate

I just to have a shortened OEM one before...
