Not gonna go extreme as my old whip. This will be much slower progress. Boat is damn nice already but theres few things that needs to be addressed.

On the way back from Havasu. Some reason I'm always scared towing something for the first time. Bearings, tires, or whatever might fall off. Greased up the bearings at sellers house before heading home.

Do you have split foot throttles for steering? Black looks nice

Yes. Foot trim also. I kind of want to put blinker trim switches instead. My mind reacts better to my hands than foot.

I was in a boat like yours and S was driving about 100mph steering with the peddles. I wanted to go home!

Looks great Chris. I like the black cowls.

Did the ceramic make it a bunch better after the polish? I am still trying to figure out if that stuff is snake oil or not.

Thanks!

I’m a fan of ceramic coat cause it makes it easy to wash after. Keeps the shiny longer too. Highly recommend.

I have 2 300 promax. Same as your eliminator. So that size will work and I like the carbon fiber look you did. Not to copy you but looks good.

99-2000 promax? Its a little bit bigger than the 280. This is my old promax 300. I could send the same dimensions.

Took the bote out yesterday. Driving a twin engine is kinda a pita compared to my last set up. Only went on the water for 30mins. Few things that needs to be addressed.

Blinker trim switches. The original set up got the trim on the dash for fine tune but it’s sucks reaching it.

Find out what neutral trim is. I felt like the boat was “wet” all the time or the water is too glassy.

Replace impellers cause water temp and pressure is different from each other.

Boat is fun but definitely need seat time.

Hello Chris 280s don't have thermostats so the water psi is close to nothing @ idle but you will see water from both outlet tubes.

Hey Matt, yeah I figured that. It was more cruising at 60 and noticed there was less than 5psi on the starboard engine. Everything been replaced so can't wait to take it out again.

Mine is usually 7-10 psi at 60ish, the 2 motors are never the exact same. My left motor is usually 2psi lower at any speed, impellors changed yearly at the same time.

I drove a 22 DCB with twins once. I wasn't driving top speed, but it would take some time to get used to the foot trim. I also didn't utilize the split go peddle for steering. Again, it would take some time to get used to.

Definitely need more seat time. I was going to install blinker trim switches but told myself to just wait and drive it more.

I really hate the blue steering wheel that came with the boat so I threw a sparco on. Not sure how I feel about it tbh. When I figure what new gauges to run I’ll get a better steering wheel. Definitely temporary for now.

Hydraulic steering doesn't always return to the same center, so that wheel will end up turned upside down to go straight at some point in time... Symmetrical spoke patterns get rid of (or hide effectively) the issue.
