lol I had to laugh, I make it a RULE OF MINE to NEVER show my wife anything she may like unless I am ready to buy it because of the same MISTAKE you made lol.
Sorry that I've been under the radar the past few days. I consider myself unlucky in a different way, my wife says no to everything even if she likes it! LOL

My daughter and I have a plan to drive my old 71 Blazer in a big parking lot this weekend to see how she does. We'll go from there, seeing how my nerves hold up. Because I'm in California, does it still have the smog junk on it? Thanks

No worries, as far as smog equipment Yes it still has all the smog stuff on it and all seems to be in working order, it does have a small exhaust leak that I can hear under harder acceleration and I think that may be an issue possibly not allowing it to pass the way it sits but not sure. Air is not working good at all, Since I don't have a AC machine to start the hunt for the issue I am Going into Havi Monday to a fellow RDers auto shop that is going to check out the air conditioning system to see what it needs to get it back to ice cold and go from there. Then I decide if I can make the time to do the manifolds or not. Knowing me, once I fix the air everything else will be on my list and then I wont want to sell the Bronco lol.

You sound a lot like me. I planned on selling my Nomad wagon and then I saw a photo of a certain 55 that was so cool it made me get my car started after sitting for about 5 years. Now I want to redo the whole car! lol

I plan on testing my nerves, I mean letting my daughter try driving my old blazer tomorrow. Hopefully I'll be in touch soon with good news :)

Thanks to a fellow RDer John and his team at Havasu Auto Care in Havi my Bronco now has cold air conditioning. I highly recommend Havasu Auto Care to anyone needing work in the Havasu or surrounding area on their rides. THANKS AGAIN JOHN and your team.

I guess it's time to throw a bump out there.

  • 1996 Ford OJ Bronco, White, 4x4, 1 ton Dana 60 up front, 1 ton 10.25 rear, 5 new 37” tires, 214k mile recent rebuilt 5.8, rebuilt trans, white with grey cloth interior, hitch, runs xlnt. Needs some finishing but I drive it locally almost every day. Would not hesitate to drive this any distance. (If I don't do it myself once the Jeep work is done I may take it to a local trusted shop to get new the exhaust manifolds done, has a small exhaust leak so might as well do the known issue with broncos now, air is serviced, if anything else is spotted it will be fixed). Asking 30k OBO. If buyer wants to do the work themselves I would let it go for 25k OBO "AS IS"
  • 2002 Ford Expedition Eddy Bauer, 4x4, This is the cleanest First Edition Expedition you will ever see, white, tan interior, ice cold dual air, sunroof, tinted windows, 103k miles, 2” Lift, new BFGs, 6 disc changer (if anyone has CDs anymore I do lol), runs excellent, would drive this cross country without hesitation. I paid wayyyyyyyyyyy toooooo much for it but once I saw it I wanted it because of the condition. 13k OBO.

I guess I should bump this since I should make some room. Every time I drive either the Bronco or the 02 Expedition I decide not really interested in selling them but since the wife's new Expedition came in a few weeks back and my Mav has been here for a couple of months room has gotten tighter and I have another possible project coming soon so BUMP.......
