Yarde Metal Supply stocks 0.250 thick 6061-T6 "Z Bar" in two different sizes.

First size is 3.0000 x 2.688 x 0.250 x 25' 0"

Second size is 4.0000 x 3.062 x 0.250 x 25' 0"

The only difference between what Schiada uses and this material is the thickness. (Schiada uses 0.375 inch thick vrs this material at 0.250 inches thick)

I like the idea of .250 lighter but whats the price on 1- 25'foot stick and how much to ship to california im sure its pretty spendy. But thanks for the info as I would check into it for another build.

The first size is the size you want to use (3.0000 x 2.688 x 0.250 x 25' 0") and weighs 2.3280 lbs./ft., or 58.2 lbs./25 ft. What is the going price for 6061-T6 per pound ? Say it's $4.00/lb., would be $232.80. Have it cut in half and send 2 12.5' sticks. I'll bet it's still cheeper than what Schiada charges (don't they sell it by the inch ?) for the same amount of material, but of course Schiada's is 0.125 thicker

Come on man you don't think I wanted it under there? Pisses me off to no end that I couldn't get it in there. I wanted it all in the rails but just no way to make it work without hacking up the rail kit and still have enough room for changes. So with that said at least the filter changes will be easy enough and I got cable guides outta the mounts:skull Thanks
