How are you guys going back? Down the coast?

Don’t tell anyone about the huckleberry tank. Save that for us.If you’re still in hope I’d recommend ice house pizza. It’s pretty tasty.
Also, you have to get a huckleberry pie while you’re there. Area staple. They can be a bit tart but up there is the only place you really get them.
(Sorry I see you’re in CDA now. Huckeberry pie still stands).
Interested to hear your opinions on cda compared to pend orielle. I like pend better. Slower pace. Better lake. Less bougie.
Headed home, need to check with the wife, but if you’re available this afternoon we could hit the lake today instead of tomorrow. Call me, # is in your pms.We are at the tamarack Rv park in town.. and just kinda messing around. Our dog gets full on anxiety from the motorhome AC’s so we generally have been taking him everywhere, leaving him for extremely short periods of time, or having someone stay back.
I think we check out tomorrow, the kids have some one hour horseback riding thing Stacy booked. I’m not sure what the afternoon evening plans or even where we are going next?
If I can find a place to stash the motorhome and leave the dog in it for a few hours I’d love to see the lake by boat!

Yep, some live there full time. A great place for breakfast is Chomper Cafe. On Prairie west of Ramsey. 2345 W. Prairie, Hayden. Looks like a house driving by so keep an eye open if you decide to try it.Yes sir! Seems like some people are here long term.. check out this propane tank. View attachment 1406413
You are welcome to stash it at our place. We have plenty of asphalt with a fenced in yard for your rig and dog <2 miles from Tamarack.

That's our go-to in Sandpoint. We stumbled upon it by accident in July one year because it was the only place open to eat downtown at 8:00 pm. Very unassuming on the outside, so the tourists often overlook it and opt for the brewery instead. I realize I'm technically a tourist, but my parents live in Spirit Lake, so we spend a lot of time in the area. Plus, we don't really consider you Upstate Idaho peeps tourists here in W. Montana, I feel like it's kinda reciprocal there for us. Could be wrong.
because I know it’s gonna raise BPRacing a blood pressure.. lol
Bing Crosby's house.DJ could tell ya who but the first pic was a famous musicians house if I remember right..

John Elway's house.
That looks like an epic day of boating and the kids had fun!View attachment 1407409 View attachment 1407412 On the backside of the lake they have a sandbar hangout.. the water was incredibly warm (me likey a lot!).
x2! Amazing place. Is there a speed limit on this lake?I am definitely going to check that place out!
Technically speaking, yes. 55mph. However, if you head south towards the less populated area of the lake, they don't bother you. If you go tearing across Cougar bay, they will nail you every time.x2! Amazing place. Is there a speed limit on this lake?
You may have done this place a disservice with this thread. It would been better off not being shared on RDP or any other media outlet. I want to move there!
We have been there a few times. Great food and a killer setting!Dave, anybody around those parts mention Wolf Lodge Steakhouse?? Kinda hard drive just for dinner, but it’s always been worth it…..ask around up there. Cooked over open fire inside…. View attachment 1407566 View attachment 1407567 View attachment 1407567
I spent many summers at Gozzer Ranch working on those boats! Lots Hollywood elites there. Impressive if that is your thing but I cared more about the boats than the people! StanCrafts have a ride and feel like nothing else I've ever driven. Truly works of art. I guess it is kinda cool when you can name off a dozen elites of whom you've worked on their boats! All the movie stars Stancrafts.. then all their kids have ridiculously expensive wakeboard boats on the other side.. pretty wild!
@chadzilla could explain all the different StarlnCraft’s.. but their first painted one is in there.. their first center console.. bunch of bitchen boats!

Gozzer Ranch. Owned by Discovery Land and Trust company who has properties all over the world. They cater to the elites.Gossard (spelling?). This is the celebrity community where all the movie stars are at..

The funny thing is, I wouldn't recognize a modern "star", but I can really appreciate the craftsmanship of some of those boats.I spent many summers at Gozzer Ranch working on those boats! I mean 55 MPH isn’t slow. I thought I heard it was 35MPH. Thst was just hearsay though.Technically speaking, yes. 55mph. However, if you head south towards the less populated area of the lake, they don't bother you. If you go tearing across Cougar bay, they will nail you every time.
