Lenses do end up costing more than bodies. It's always better picking a brand to marry into, investing in good lenses, then upgrading bodies later down the road. I'm not sure what ya mean by the fish on the end; maybe she was talking about the tripod foot on my tele lens?

Maybe it’s just the tele lens. Idk she had a fish eye for one of her lenses and that’s what it looked like but a lot larger.

just remember the restrictions after Labor day past willow

with that group it would be more like Star Wars canyon fly by

You won't be able to go all the way to the dam, only to Willow beach. Beyond that is closed to boats after Labor Day.

Anyone is welcome, keeping up with this group could be challenging for some....

I'm not sure why. Maybe to balance the recreational opportunities in the area? There are a lot of kayakers up there in the summer as it is, but not sure if there are more in the winter or what.
