Got word today boat should be Thursday pending no more issues are found(X-FINGERS)
might have daughter n grand kids with us if every things works out..(whoa)
its been a very expensive few days so far..
Tahoe a/c fixed $$.
House a/c took dump pending $$$$.
boat bill keeps climbing (lmao).... woman is over it and now just wants to get a 29ft x-flight....
all that being said if we make it out for this event im making some shirts I posted in this thread..

Aug 4 2018 damn dam run. We’ll be gathering outside the no wake at kathrines landing. Horn will sound at 10am and we will be headed to cotton wood to pick up the rest of the group, around 11 give or take. After that it’s off to willow. This will be at whatever pace you want ranging anywhere from around 30mph-160mph. Stop whenever you feel like or whenever you see a group of boats hanging out. We usually group up again in the no wake at willow then head for the dam. Float around for a while and head back when you’re ready. Probably beach at the big sandy beach directly across from cotton wood. Hang out, have lunch , meet some inmates. This is an unorganized event and as usual every thing is set in quick sand.[/

Bummed going to miss this. I am a new member on site here. Hello All. I've done this run once before and it you are correct it is awesome scenery. Basin was rough especially in my 21 Ultra... lol. I have been waiting for this run but we have a trip this weekend. Are you going to be doing another Damn Dam run this year. I really hope so. Just bought a new home in Havasu last year and have been spending a lot of time there and been wanting to meet some new folks...

We’ll launch in the morning Saturday. Another buddy is heading up from Havasu Saturday morning early with his boat. I’ll be in my Stoker feel free to flag me down, I don’t know most of you guys. I’ll be milling atriums the no wake buoys at the marina.

I would suggest Princess Cove to you and everyone else . You can launch and be down at Kathrines before you would have made it half way through the line. Also a lot less crowded. You can usually tie your boat to the dock while you park/retrieve your boat. Road there is good now. 20 years ago it would destroy a trailer.
