You picked that up on EBay? I was watching that one. Not the right time, but I really want to replace my 99. I'll try to find a pic to add. Loved that truck!
1994 Blazer. Owned since 1995.
I miss my 93 Yukon. I'd LOVE to get a 95 to 99 4wd with the Vortec 350. My 93 was one of the most reliable and probably one of the most versatile vehicles I've ever known.

This thread makes me sad....I really wish I would have kept mine[emoji20]
Me too! [emoji20]
Just not enough room or time but I wish I would have kept it and just covered it and stored it at my office.

Didn't you have the copper one? That thing was nice. Where's it go?
I sold it back to Steve and he sold it to a couple in bullhead a couple weeks later.
It's gone from the circle now...[emoji853]
That's right!! Presume it'll be back seeing the way Steve kept getting it back lol. I almost bought it from Steve right before you bought it but didn't want to spend the money. Came across mine a little later and couldn't turn down the deal. Still planning on installing a full sliding rag on mine. Just waiting for the dude who's gonna install it to tell me he's ready. Says the guy that tells me not to get attached to vehicles cause he doesn't lol
I want to do a full rag in my extra cab and thought I was crazy for wanting to do it, guess not. Who is doing yours?
Ordering it from http://www.slidingragtops.com/?gclid=CMLN1YiRudICFQJsfgodnpAEQg
I actually have a buddy that says he wants to do it and won't charge and the dude is like meticulous with restoration and projects (he's torn down two or 3 original wood Chris Crafts, built a frame off restored bagged 60's C10 and a bunch of other stuff. I don't doubt his skill I'm just afraid it's going to take a while and since I actually drive my hoe I can't exactly let him keep it for too long.
Another buddy restores vintage VW's out of Ventura and does killer work. He's installed a few rags on buses and bugs and has an upholstery guy in shop too. He'll kick down a smokin deal for install. Said the headliner would be the most expensive part - having his guy figure it out and install. Think I'll do it is dark grey suede.
Looks like I would do the 40x40, like to do it in power. My headliner is just starting to sag a tad one spot. I need to pull all of the interior out of it anyway, the back seat is still out with 6 10's in the extra cab but that doesn't work well for my wife and two kids. I still have the og back seat out of it. Was going to try and get this stuff done this winter but it hasn't happen yet. Like the idea of doing the rag at the same time.
6 JL's. I agree go as big as you can. That's what I wanted to do.HAHAHA.. true. Maybe why my project has lagged a bit myself. Did you post a pic of your truck? 6 10" JL's? I had 3 12 JLs in my crewcab and 12 12" JLs in my suburban.
I measured my roof already. Going to go as big as possible. either 42" x 65" or 40" x 55"
Just curious. I like the looks of the lowered Tahoes and Blazers. I have a 4wd Tahoe I keep in Havasu. See picture. Any thing I could do to make it nicer besides paint. ?

Thing looks nice from the pic. People actually lower the 4wd ones because the 2wds cost so much more and are more rare. But I would advise against it. I'd say a nice lift, rims and 35's or so. They look good lifted too. Thanks for the pics. What about a new motor swap. LS?
These things always remind me of the mini truck craze.
What is the point of having the hydraulics where the frame sits on the ground. I don't get it. To me it seems a waste of time and fucks up the ride
Nice truck!! You ever think about putting the dually kit on it since its a long bed?
Question....
Thinking of getting a K&N cold air intake for my Tahoe. Advantages? Any increase in performance. I just like the idea of not ever having to buy a new air cleaner. But I do see theres some wires and sensors and crap plugged into the stock air intake prior to the motor. Will disconnecting these throw error codes and screw with the performance? And I presume all that needs to go back on for smog?
Everyone needs six or more subs [emoji23] View attachment 543459
I was reading a comparison article before about air intakes. They compared 3 or 4 of the biggest names to a stock intake on a chassis dyno in a truck. Basically the best combination came down to using the factory air box with an aftermarket ducting (like K&N) and replacing the paper filter with a higher performance drop in replacement. The full kits didn't really result in much of any increase due to the filter being exposed to so much hot air from the engine bay.Question....

If you talk to the owners let them know I would be interested in buying it back if still clean at the right price.[emoji106]
