Who else has a love for these things? I know there's a few of you on here that have had some nice ones. I sold my last one 5 years ago and have missed it ever since. I found a 1999 1 owner owned with extremely low miles (55k) and the inside looks like it has never been sat in. It was the right color I was looking for and it has the tailgate instead of the barn doors which I also like. Pulled the trigger on it a couple of days ago and I couldn't be happier. Still need to ditch the roof rack and do a few other mods to it. Original owner installed a fiberglass roll pan and switched out the gas tank in the rear so it doesn't hang down below the pan. Not sure how many gallons it is now but it sure looks good not hanging below the roll pan. I'm going to install a steel roll pan and mold it in to get rid of the seams.

Here is my 98 that I sold to a member here

two or four wheel drive (lowered of course) that make a great 'light boat' tow vehicle and all around 'town car' . Just don't see too many in Havasu in good shape and at the right prices .......

The next custom 'short bed pick up fad' will be these 2 doors .......

Love them. Basically a new school version of the Blazer. K5's looked best lifted, but these look amazing slammed. Still would rather have a dropped single cab 1500.

That white one you picked up is a diamond in the rough.......55k miles?! CRAZY!

I've had a couple of standard cabs too. Just like the look of a lowered 2 door and the roominess compared to the standard cab. Here was my 96'

Nice score Marc ... looks extremely clean. Throw some 22's on it and it'll clean it up even more.

I miss my lowered truck so much, that I'm gonna get another one.

Nice find! I like the American Racing style wheels too. The rear quarter plastic would look better black so it blends into the windows imo. Other than that maybe clear lenses and roll it like the bad mo-fo it is.. :D

I'm partial to the barn doors myself, but the tailgate does flow better. ;)

I just put these on for the time being. It had a set of rally wheels on it when I bought it. Kicking around the idea of a set of 22" Budnik's and airbagging it.

You scored, congrats super nice ride. By any chance was the previous owner a guy by the name of Larry?

Thanks! I don't think his name was Larry. I bought it from a lady in Encinitas, Ca. Her father bought it for her mother to drive and the mother past 9 years ago. The father past a couple of years back and the truck has been sitting covered in a garage. They would start the vehicle and drive it time to time so that it didn't rot away

The quarter plastics will be getting changed back to black.

I had a silver 96 lifted on 33's I loved the truck! The steering gearbox always had issues though. I was in an accident with it and bent the frame. I got hit from behind and the ass was sitting on the toyotas hood. Had to put it in 4x4 to drive off of it. It towed my 21 great.

I bet it looked sharp w/ the rally's. Color match the steel centers to your boat and run chrome caps and trim rings 👍 Cool little truck either way!

It's a Blazer but I wish I never would have sold it... 1993 Silverado edition (it was a trim level back then), Z71. Still ran like a top with 250K miles on it when the guy from drove off in it.

1999 Chevy 2 door Tahoe 2wd w/ tailgate. 57k original miles! Brand new 20" Torq Thrust 2's. Bell Tech 5/7 drop with bag's in rear and on board compressor. Interior and grey leather interior are in excellent shape. Brand new OEM painted mirrors and door handles with no key holes. Brand new OEM Gmc grill with 30 bar billet. DEI alarm with color remote, gps tracking and remote start. Brand new kenwood Dvd radio. Has a fiberglass roll pan with a hide a hitch. I also have a new rear bumper and steel roll pan for it, along with a set of sport mirrors and OEM Chevy grill with billet. You will not find a nicer original mileage 2 door! Located in Van Nuys, Ca.

I've always been a Chevy guy and have had many different models lifted and lowered. ;) above are a couple of my favorites I've sold off (miss them both)

Here's my daily driver bellow. Planning on putting a sliding rag on it before summer. Then paint, then bag (maybe).

I need to take some of the interior. I have a few of the seats but I can take more tomorrow of the inside. Back seat looks like it's never been sat in! The picture of the rear seats makes it look like its a different color then the front. They're both the exact same color.

Sold my '93 Yukon GT about 7 years ago. I miss that thing. Most reliable vehicle I have ever owned and pretty darn roomy inside too. uploadfromtaptalk1455068209466.jpg

I don't really get the whole lowering thing, but I think thats just a case of geographical differences.. Most of the cars that are lowered around here have gang colors flying from the antenna. :)

Regardless of all of that - super clean ride and heck yes, the 2 door version was. Freaking awesome. There have been pics of a new "prototype" two door version floating around for the past few years but I assume its all fake.. I know I would buy one if they released it..

There was one for sale on Craigslist a while back that was converted to look like a 2014 escalate. Interior and all. It was pretty bad ass.

That's a ton of work. Especially because the new body style isn't even close to the 96-99 Tahoe body style. I had my 98 done with an escalade clip and used a custom gmc bumper that was cut down instead of using the stock plastic bumper.

Nice ride SFV2RVR, I have seen you rolling out east bound on the 10 towards desert center a couple times. I recently picked up a 99 LT with 57K original miles that is unmolested bone stock. Good luck with the sale. Have you ever towed your 21RC any distance with it or just house to ramp, was curious how well it towed. Might have to go see your uncle Chucky about new treads once I figure out how I'm going to lower it. Thanks.

Thanks! It's super hard to find unmolested low mileage ones now. I've towed it from Parker to Havasu but that's about it. Mine had a programmer and exhaust and a cold air intake. It will tow it ok, but I don't know weather I would go a long distance. The 21RC is pretty heavy and you can definitely feel it back there. If you lower it, the bell tech kit is the only way to go. I've had 2 of them lowered now and this is the only kit I'd use. They ride great when you use the right parts. My uncle chuck will tell you the same thing. That's the kits he used back in the day when these trucks were flying out of the dealerships. Tell him I say hello! Good luck with your new toy. Your gonna love it! [emoji1303]

I forgot you had that thing too. Jeeezuz you've had some nice trucks.

And yea, the work that has to have gone into this 2 door "2914 Escalade" had to be insane. Must've ripped it to the frame. It had the full dash, headliner, interior, etc. awesome work.

I google searched it. Here's a few. The green ones a bit ghetto but re-painted and toned down it would be cool. The grey one is super nice!

Yes, the grey one is clean.

It's actually the lighter colored one I saw was for sale. Has the complete escalade tan interior. And check out that they actually molded the rear fenders too. That's not the greatest pic of it but it was super nice. It was bagged so it's sitting funky in the pic.

Another nice one.

You picked that up on EBay? I was watching that one. Not the right time, but I really want to replace my 99. I'll try to find a pic to add. Loved that truck!
