Are you going to reuse the cav hardware or upgrade it? I would be interested in buying the stuff you have taken off.
My trailer is at Hampton Trailers getting restored. Should be done next week. Paint came out awesome. The trailer looks brand new and it was hammered.

"reasonable"?
I've never heard anyone say he was unreasonable, it that helps. Lol.
I hope they are glssing inside the hull also. I they do not glass inside it will look the same in about year or so.
By the way!!! Any word on the engine block and heads you said you would look into for me? Thanks Terry Jesse and you have my numbers> See you on the hill!!!
That looks 100 times better.. Out of curiosity, what did you do to the stringers? Plug the holes and gel them black?
RD
It is all gel. Looks great!!!
What, if any, rule of thumb exists for going with a rail kit that runs the whole length of the stringers?
Does anyone have pictures of what they have done in the past?

What are you going to name the boat when your done?
I vote for "UGLY TRAILER" arty2:
Come out of the strainer into the pump, out the pump into the block, out the block/intake manifold to the headers and out the headers. Hope these pics will help you out.
its done.
yah. Thanks again. my carb had major issues that weekend.
so I blew up the SBC that everyone advised me not to put into the boat. Nonetheless, I learned a lot about good parts and what it takes to go fast in a boat. Since february, I have built a 469 C.I. 10.5 C/R BBC that seems to be real healthy. A handful of guys got together New Years day down at weekend paradise (lake elsinore) to run some laps. I was trying to get out to the last regatta in parker but couldn't get the motor together in time. This was my first run out instead of running to parker for the maiden voyage as I did at the regatta in October 2011. Seems like I have a pretty good power plant in the boat that I hope will last a little while. Anyhow, I am pretty excited about the performance this motor is putting out.

You were the guy I gave a ride from Riverland to Bluewater right? If so glad to see you got it running good. :thumbsup
