I actually really like this Daytona and wouldn't mind keeping it. But if someone is interested in it for the asking price, I'll sell it. I've got plenty of other crap to work on and could thin the herd a bit to keep the Mrs. happy.

It also soaks up a lot of resin. I thinknits just nice to work with because the two fabrics are already sewn together making it easier to layout and cut, in just one pass. You really do have to work the resin in though.....

I just thought I'd post an update and bring some "Closure" to this thread. I tossed the idea around about selling this boat, either complete, or as an empty hull and trailer. I had interested parties who wanted the boat in either condition, but only one stepped forward with cash. I stripped this hull and pulled the motor, electrical and all of the rigging. The new owner is converting this from an outboard to a jet, so he wasn't interested in anything attached to the outboard. The hull and trailer were sold to another member and he took delivery during the holiday weekend. It's going to a good home and should turn out better than what I could have done.
I will be taking the goodies removed from this Daytona, and will be moving majority of the items over to my 19' Howard project.
I'll quit updating this thread and take my efforts back over to the forgotten Howard. Or is it a Schiada? Nobody really knows.....
