Well.... Probably time to get the build thread going.

Purchased the boat last week out in Beaumont, CA.

Dropped the boat off at my buddies shop this past Tuesday evening.

He's already tearing her down.

Unfortunately, the non skid probably can't be saved. There was a flat recess for the jet in the back that will be filled. The whole keel will be beefed up and balsa floor will be added with new stringers. I am having him throw another layer of glass on the floor to beef it up since it is pretty damn thin.

Boat will be capped and the well in the back will be filled flat.

Does anyone know the history on this boat? The guy I bought it off of said that he got the boat out of Signal Hill.

And if anyone is interested, this was my 1st Mini Schiada build that I finished back in 2015.

On Sat I went to Islander Marine to check out this Mini 10'r. This is the Mini that was for sale on the craigs list in Fresno last year. Thank you to Vegas Dave for the offer to buy this mini. This mini is in desperate need of work. The floor in the boat needs to be ripped out and the bottom...

Boat has ran great over the years, but something is locking up in the outboard. Luckily I have another Tohatsu 40HP that is sitting in my garage that I can throw on her.

I have 1 Schiada that was rebuilt back in 2015.

I have your old 12' Daytona that just got the gel/glass done. Now time to rig.

I have the other 12' Daytona that I picked up a few miles from my pad in Ladera Heights. That is currently in my race trailer and will be dropped off in a few days.

Then last week, I was the (un)lucky summa bitch that was 1st to send the previous owner a message and we striked a deal. As much as I don't really feel like rigging 3 more minis, it's going to be awesome when they are done..

I might try to land a couple triple axle jet ski trailers and convert them to 2) Schiadas on 1 trailer and 2) Daytonas on the other. Then sell the 4 trailers that are under the boats now.

My wallet wishes that I'd rather be addicted to drugs. But in the long run, my son and daughter are going to fricken love their Mini Daytonas. Plus, If one of my mini Schiadas break, I'll have a spare ready to rip

Gotta Come down to the boat races when we race and we bring our GBR shirts and hats
