Whats up Steveo. I had your tools at Irvine, but I never saw ya. I figured you went to to CFW for the Fathers day deal up there.

I have the 4 brackets cut out. I was lining up the v-drive on Saturday, but realized I need a few more hands to tighten up the clamps while I slide the shaft in and out of the coupler to make sure everything is aligned. So this week I should have the v-drive in. Then I need to start making some motor mounts

Well Dave, not much more to see, but I will snap a few pics of the motor mount I built a few weeks ago and also the installation of the v-drive.

The season is almost over, I am not going to rush it now. She will be out at the end of winter :thumbsup

Here are some pics of what I have been working on. I have made both motor mounts and tranny support. I left some material on the front mount, since I plan on mounting my fuel pump and ignition box to it. There is a little material on the back mount for my alternator. Once mounted, I will trim to fit.

Thanks Bud. I ordered a new billet foot throttle, motor mount blocks, and cav spring kit from Rex. That will be here tomorrow. Time to get the Battery mounts, seat mounts, and throttle/down pedal setup complete.

O yea, I am going to ditch the 4 bucket idea. I threw the back bench in on saturday. It fits perfect. I will probably use the same interior for a year until I can save up and have everything re-wrapped.

Just waiting on for my Cavitation plate pads, and pillow blocks to get done so I can send everything to the polish/anodizer

Thanks. The red came out bitchen. Can't really tell from the picture, but the plates are polished stainless. All the parts in the boat will pretty much be red, black, and polished.

Last night I got the whole cavitation assembly complete.

I have been banging my head against the wall trying to figure out how to make a mount to connect the throttle cable to the arm on my peddle assembly....Once I figure that out, I can pull the v-drive and install my turn fin....

Then it is just triming a few brackets, making battery mounts, then tear it all down and send it to the ano/polisher :thumbsup

IDK.. RD's boat goes 70ish?? I run beside him at 4200?? my 2 blade shakes the shit out of my pile up to 3500, but at 5k it felt way.. way faster than it had ever been before..Ill be at the BBevent in "2 Weeks" to find out.....
