I’m assuming it gettin deleted was a warning not gonna poke the bear. They are paying to be on the site.
It has nothing to do with them being an advertiser.

Badass build and incredible boat! I obviously know it’s a branded thing, and I hate to be “that” guy, but am I the only one here that has no clue what Dixxon is?
Truth. If you are truly into custom boats then you have to respect all of the details in this build. Who cares if you like the color.

Edit:
Googled it, please disregard my ignorance! Just not my jam, I guess.
I had to look them up. I'm definitely not cool enoughYore not cool enough. LOL
If it’s the boat I'm think of I believe it was a wrap and it’s probably been removed by now. What happened to the mountain dew Eliminator ?
I thought those were all done in gel..If it’s the boat I'm think of I believe it was a wrap and it’s probably been removed by now.
I know the Budweiser Daytona popped up a while ago for sale and it was all red with no Budweiser logo.
Here is the add for the Budweiser 27I thought those were all done in gel..

I buy mine on the cheap. They usually get retired after being caught on fire a time or two welding, or, most recently, grinding
Oh crapThey make fire resistant flannels for guys like you
Do they have any more details on how that was done? Having played with fiberglass once or twice in my life this seems like a really cool process. But couldn’t imagine resin infused flannel having structural integrity? No they put the actual flannel on the boat and then gelled over it with clear.

I don’t know the details of how exactly they did it but I was there when they were planning to do the plaid infusion. So they showed it to me.Do they have any more details on how that was done? I thought it was interesting how they were gonna make a plaid infused panel. I couldn’t see the final product but it came out pretty cool.
So they showed me some kind of ”plaid fabric” but I don’t know it was fiberglass mat that looked like flannel or some flannel material that was not fiberglass.
I will ask…
It's just another layer of cloth, and some resin. Not there for strength, only looks. That wound make more sense. I would imagine they would a similar process to the old wood grain pacalon of the day cruiser era. But it was mentioned a few times actual flannel so that threw me off a bit.
Here is the add for the Budweiser 27

So was it done out of the mold? In the mold? I’m going to be doing some glass work In my pre runner and have some ideas that would work with this method which is why I inquired about the basic technique. It's just another layer of cloth, and some resin. Not there for strength, only looks.
I dig it. The flannel is a unique touch, and ties it together nicely. The big swim step is awesome.

So I asked Jake. He said for the boat hull they got a carbon fiber mat that looks like imitation flannel and the was laminated into the hull just like regular mat in their normal infusion process. That wound make more sense. That makes perfect sense. So it’s not “actual flannel” like was said in the video. That’s what kept throwing me off.So I asked Jake. I remember the mat cuz he showed it to me. Looked kind of crazy and different
As for the interior the flannel is a real flannel material there
And they are made in China
But what isn’t. I never heard of them so I checked them out. (I like flannels). But found it very limited.Tread lightly my friend…
I see what you did thereDo they make cider?
Much of their apparel, especially flannels, are limited releases. Most sell out the day they drop. Many of the items in the Store on the website are there because the market response was less than expected. If you sign up for email, fb, or text alerts you will get a look at their latest and IMO best stuff before it becomes available. But what isn’t. I never heard of them so I checked them out. Important question....
Can we get a Dixxon flannel RDP friends and family coupon code?
not military or a first responder. I haven't earned that code.I may have a 20% off code..........
Millitary/first responder, its at the bottom of the site, you can sign up for it.

I think the matching 27 Speedster w/ twin 450’s is his too…?I live in Havasu and have 100 flannels! And I thought boating was a problem lol
I havent met Danny in person yet, but have chatted with him regularly over the years. The dude can not leave anything alone, everything gets customized and thats something that I appreciate about the guy. He has the means to do what a lot of us dream of doing. At the end of the day, he answers messages like a normal guy.
The deck came out really cool! Id wager it wont be the last boat built for him or the company.
