Not all lithium is the same. I only do lifepo4 because it doesn’t have thermal run away issues, it’s very safe.
I also agree with @lbhsbz that it’s not cost effective, I do it as part of my crazy prepper stuff and have a lot of off grid electricity needs.
My guess is that his loan was in its final stages where there is hardly any interest in the payment and is mostly principal anyway.
Probably also zero tax deduction advantage to keeping the loan since someone like him is probably taking the standard deduction anyway.
He can now insure it...
Mine included engineered foundation plans from the manufacturer and the engineering was super cheap, like 250 bucks extra. I permitted as a utility building and there is no requirement for electrical in a utility building in my county, so I didn’t include it. Only a footing/steel inspection...
Oddly enough, Page has commercial airline service. Contour airlines…. Page is only 7k people vs 60k in Havasu. 60k isn’t a small town. You are Flagstaff/Yuma sized in Havasu.
Page is pretty much land locked. Reservation to the east and south with GCNRA everywhere else. If the closing...
Is there anything competitive against heathcare.gov for people under 65? Open enrollment time, we have been on HDP with HSA for over 10 years and need to check on pricing…
I would have to consult the attorneys. I assumed that the transfer from one private trust entity to private person would lock-in the “used” vehicle sale. But I am just talking shit with the whole proposition.
I am going to start a “6 month shakedown service”. You buy your MH in AZ registered in Az, we put it in an anonymous property trust. We warehouse the RV for 6 months. During the 6 months we run it through various predetermined routes. Test and use all the systems. Take it in for warranty...
Thanks, I fully appreciate the loss of life and the tragedy… but as a pilot (green) I immediately go to what can I learn from it and how can I be better prepared for my occupants safety.
I had 400 ish TandGs and several dozen go arounds before my check ride but my Cfi never pulled the mix or throttle approaching V1 to see if I would do what I said I would do if it happens. I would like to go to a long runway get about 50 feet up and kill the power to see if I could land and...
BTW, in the crash video the pilot appears to be in full wheel/brake lock up smoking the tires which would have also contributed to 90kn speed at the numbers and additional stopping distance required. I guess ABS is not standard on these small jets.
I should have been more specific, not taught outside of ground school or discussion. I was not physically taught in the plane how to hit the marks and demonstrate. I say it out loud every time that if we are not at IAS of x by the time we hit the rwy marking of x we abort, but have never had...
As a low hour pilot I have never rejected a take off. It is also not taught or tested as part of you PPL. I imagine you never get the chance to experience or practice a rejected TO on someone’s 5 million dollar small jet? (But I could be wrong). Does any rating include the requirement to...
It’s not all or nothing and sometimes it makes sense to use the grid tie as your battery versus physical batteries. But to say it can’t be done is incorrect. With enough upside and money it can be done. Why people do it is also subjective. I do it because I can. I don’t have power outage...
I thought there was some regulation on 1 tons and up that requires the cab lighting? But I really miss having a shell on my current truck, my last truck had a shell and that was very convenient!
