Anybody here use the home title lock protection?

This is what we do in Canada. If a house is paid off, get e HELOC with you bank and since they are on title, the protect the collateral. You don't have to use the HELOC and there is no interest charge unless it is used. Again, this is how it works in Canada.

    This sucks….boat down!

I was there on Sunday. Booby Trap was floated. There were three cigs all the same blue. The third was a 41 Nighthawk with 1100's. They were all over the top beautiful.

That sounds solid to me. Lots of adjustment options then.

School me on outboard engine placement/set up for twins

That boat is sick with twins. I would not change that. Balance is also a part of what causes boats to porpoise. If it were me, I would raise the engines to see if that helps. If it solves the issue great, if you do and still have a porpoise I would try to relocate weight forward like the...

School me on outboard engine placement/set up for twins

From what I have read, you want the cavitation/anti-ventillation plate to be right at or above the water when at a fast cruise speed. Most of the time porpoise is caused by the props being too deep. With the amount of set back you have, and the pictures attached I think you are probably too...

Fort Lauderdale Boat Show - random pics of set up.

Great shots! I'm flying in Friday evening for the show. My friend owns a brokerage and they have been busy moving boats in yesterday and today. Have not been since 2014. Hope to get some great weather for a weekend out of the cold.

Spooled up MTI 52 For Sale

I want to know how that thing is set up with a bow and stern thruster. I have yet to see that listed on any of the big cats. Can't see either in the pictures.

Current Situation - a picture thread

The Gallant Lady was the first yacht I was ever on. When I was about 14 we were eating dinner at Pier 66 and it was docked there. The owner Jim Moran was sitting on the aft deck as we were checking it out and asked if we wanted a tour. He showed us the entire boat. Very cool for a 14 year...

Pink Shell Resort, Fort Myers Fl 411

I was there this past March and some parts still look like a war zone. Traffice on and off the island can be really bad depending on the time of day. I'm talking 45 minutes to move a mile. That being said, one of my favorite bars is right near there, Doc Fords Rum Bar. Good food, live music...

Captain Hirams is an awesome place! My personal favorite used to be Panama Hatties on PGA Blvd in Palm Beach. Their Rum Bar was awesome.

    Boat Sinking

The guy is on Instagram and did several videos about how it happened, but I cannot remember the cause. Life rafts have rubber straps that hang down that you use as a ladder and to pull yourself in.

    Cavitation Plate Question

That looks awesome! How did you measure and mark the plates for the pad mounting holes so that all the pads are spaced properly and all the holes line up?

    Your Worst Flight

Worst day of flying was from Toronto to Fort Myers through Charlotte scheduled to arrive at 10:30PM. Original flight was late departing Toronto due to weather and was going to miss my connection in Charlotte. Change flights to Philly, then onto Fort Myers. Arrive at Philly with 20 minutes to...

    Key West Baby!!

The pilings are on the outside so the boats can ride up and down them when the tide changes since the docks are set at a stationary height. It works to help boats from getting stuck under docks when the tide drops, and then getting crushed when the tide rises. On new floating docks, the...

    Quest for mid size suv

The Tiguan is similar size to the RDX, the MDX is reasonably larger. I had an RDX and it was a fantastic small SUV. I would not hesitate to get a MDX. I also recently drove a Tiguan. It was fine, but I found it to be loud inside.
