So on a center console v bottom is twins a waste of money? I guess its what the customer wants, will the boat be the fastest, of course not but the ride of a pontoon is amazing. To each there own and we are working on phase 2 which could change the game again, thanks for the time
We don't need center tube storage, the boat has so much storage that it is not needed. So what do you consider poor performance? Our last Chasetoon did 64 with twin 400s, the boat is 33 feet long, so considering the size of the boat it performs very well. Also plenty of shade, more than any...
If it has fallen down by now you'll be fine. Looks like an anchor bolt not set deep enough, Definity not an HD, you would have plywood on the exterior wall to make it a shurwall
When designing it we liked the way it looked. It would basically be a 29”x24” platform. There’s also a lot of structural issues that you’d have to do as well.
Twin 300Rs starts at $325
also you need a 10 degree transom for the motors to be able to articulate, so we had a 10 degree stand off box made. First of its kind it’s really cool
This boat is the heaviest to date with twin side doors, with the 400V-10s we saw 62 with 600 more rpms to go. It all depends on the set up.
300Rs 55
400Rs mid 60s
450Rs low 70s
500Rs upper 70s/80
It all depends on the trim on how much splash it creates, also by adding the rear handrails we did get some spray off of them. We will have to add a splash guard in the future.
The reason the motors are set far back is the center toon has walk off steps built into the toon. If we didn't match the outside toons and make them closer you'd walk into the props .. the front of the motors are at the second red line
