LOL...LP that's my hometown....spent many nights there, next door at Showboat, across the street at Skate Country, and down the street at PJ Pizzaz and the Movies... Puente Hills...the good ol days no phones to stare at...

Loved the La Puente track... could burn through lots of $$ there... Once did a work party there...it was awesome racing against my bosses!

That's my take as well... There will be some that will be impacted that may have had the house handed down through generations, but I don't buy the doom and gloom for at least the PP folks. I feel gutted for all the fire victims, but the big majority of those homes had insurance; many folks...

I got burned out going every weekend... particularly when it meant trying to get out of work early on Friday and getting back Sunday evening. Fortunately my job and line of work allows more flexibility on where I do my work. I am in the office a couple of days a week. So I am able to work...

I normaly try and stay out of the DEI debates as public has sort of weighed in on it....but watching the leaders of all these critical departments I question the hires...regardless of the gender, race, preference ect... They literally seem like people that may test well or book smart but did...

Its just crazy to watch it advance in a direction opposite the wind... obviously there are wind shifts, but probably fuel and the fact it is so large it started to create its own weather system.

The gal who heads up water and power spoke about that the specifics of that earlier... When the tanks ran out that feed the hydrants... There are trunks that fill the tanks and there three different timeframes when they ran out of water at the hydrants as they tanks ran dry as the trunks could...

Ok, maybe misinformation was too hard, I accept that. Part of the definition of misinformation is intentional information meant to deceive which I am sure you were not doing... but it still false or unfounded at best. Of all the interviews I am watching now or the firefighters I have...

Yeah I would be surprised if illegals were filling these newly minted temp shelters they have stood up for the fires.... These sorts of posts are clearly misinformation..

Those folks stuck in their cars and reporters are at risk right now... this is recipe for a lot of loss...when those fire engines start to pull out those folks are in real danger...just the smoke can really F a lot of people...
