That's what I'm going to do. I was looking at those screws thinking there's no way they would work. So it was throwing me off a bit. You ready to go the lake? I should have it all put back together really soon. Then we're going to go do a shakedown run. You might have to come out with us...
i just check it out again. I must have not got all the bolts. There are only 4 total in the box. They look like the ones that hold the top down or they are the ones that hold the box down and I don't have the ones for the top. Either way I'm 4 short.
I have plenty of room on the side of the engine. That where the battery is now. I removed the screws from the original box, but that thing is not coming out without ripping the floor up. I don't know what they used to glue it down with. I can't bolt it to the stringers because the headers...
I picked up a couple of battery boxes from Teague and I want to mount them in the boat. When I opened the boxes they only came with a couple of little screws to bolt them to the floor. There is no way those will hold a battery down. What is the best way to mount them?
I drove by the local college here the other day and there were a bunch of kids riding around on them. The first thing I thought of was that movie Wall E where everybody is riding around on those floating chairs because they were to fat to walk. It won't be long now.
I've heard people say this in a couple of different places. Increase taxes while the price of fuel is low. But you never hear anyone say what's going to happen when prices go back up. It amazes me that people can only see what is in front of there faces and not what is down the road.
That's about where I am. I drive mine on the street also, and when I'm sitting in traffic it starts to get up around 220. I have a 16" flex fan on it with the shroud. I think I'm going to throw an Aluminum radiator in it to see if it help. If I can get it down another 5 or 10 degrees I would...
I'm going to pick your brain a little. Do you have any issues with it over heating? When I'm out on the trails just crawling along mine starts to get hot. I'm thinking about putting an aluminum rad. in it to see if it help. Thanks!
