I had the lifter tick show up in my ‘13 6.2 non AFM last week. Checked for a factory replacement engine, and it looks like I’d have better luck finding Bigfoot. Both dealer and independent shops want 6k’ish for a lifter job. Good luck, let us know how it works out.
If he wasn’t an LE would it matter? I’m excited to see what’s next. Maybe a CC with outboards? Seems the V and deck boat size and options are dialed. I would guess, not going into smaller entry level 21’ stuff…
I run an LWRCI IC DI with an ACOG. Big fan. The DD is top shelf. Sort out the features you like and the budget. You can buy it online and have it shipped to a FFL.
