it does alroght not as fast as a set with x's ,but the best part about it in this economy is the fuel economy .(4days at shasta and i only burned about 65 gallons )not bad !!!

normally you would do a 20 hr service and then a 100 hr service . and then in 100 hr intervals . 100 service includes 4point inspection plugs ,fuel separator ,fuel pump diaphram kit , lower unit oil , water pump, treat fuel in tank test run on flusher and check out !!! HOPE THIS HELPS TUNNEL T

one a day i do tow with just the cockpit cover on . the under side of the cover has that soft car cover type material where the canopies are and it has special snaps across the front so it doesn't come loose .i had a smaller boat before and always found little rocks in it!! TUNNEL T

yes you can ,wet sand with 1500 then 2000 ,once you feel all the bigger scratches are gone now is time to buff then go over it with a good wax !!! TUNNEL T

go to a merc dealer and ask for a tilt tube brush ,you probably have a badly corroded tilt tube . brush is cheap attach to a cordless drill and run it back and forth in the tube regrease and install cables .TUNNEL T

i have to agree ,that if its tight on the trailer something is not right . also you can purchase a torque tab that you put on the lower unit too aid in the steering i think land and sea has them !!! good luck TUNNEL T

as said in earlierpost , filters filters filters . don't forget the little ones in the injector bodies them selves and make sure you change the one in the vapor seporator .been there done that !!!!yes good octane fuel and good oil is a outboards best friend !!!TUNNEL T
