Finally finished my Rayson LP, it's a 1970 with a Turbo'd LS. 5.3ls, Borg Warner S366 turbo and controlled by a Holley HP EFI. Runs and drives great, still working on the tuning to get it just right.
Thanks for the comments! It was a labor of love. The hardest part was roudin' up everything I needed to finish it, thank god for ebay and craigslist. I live in Georgia and there's not many used/old v-drive parts on the east coast to pick from.
As for the deck, I put a thin wood veneer on it then glassed over it. I will post some pics when I get home. The motor is a stock LS with a carb intake and MSD controller. I used logs that are for 351C or 302 Boss. The ports line up perfect, I just had to drill and tap a couple of holes.
Was on the way to California from Georgia to pick up that sanger but had some issues with work. What kind of shape is it truly in. Have you run it? I got lots of pick of it and would love to be able to find another one.
