It seems like after the crash of 07’ - 09’ a lot of people sold their sand rails and switched to SXS‘s due to cost and maintenance, for me when im at the dunes I still get a rush when Im driving my rail that has 800 Hp, I do find my self in my RZR a lot due to the fact that Im the only rail in...
I can tell you this, we just ran Vegas to Reno this past Friday and it was 520+ miles. In our Pro R we didn’t even look at the belt gauge the entire race and the belt still looks amazing when we got done. so as far as the pro R is concerned the belt issues don’t exist anymore.
The X travel definitely Numbs the feedback more. For US it’s not worth the extra 6K 🤷🏼♂️ we have over 3,000 race miles now on hers and on my new one I will have the exact same set up. If it was a big deal the factory cars would have this also, but instead Steve was telling me the other day on...
It was a shit show as far as some of the course markings and gps files not having those on the course. Also the racing Trax showed speed zones differently than the actual speed zone signs so that will be another issue. Then there was this hokey sign at the start line talking about a possible re...
Mitch actually qualified good he was 2nd in class and 4th overall for qualifying then on race won his class 👍 he’s definitely a beast driver. Seth qualified almost last (due to a lithium battery fire ) and won his class and the overall for the utv’s
In this past weeeknds BITD Vegas to Reno race take a look at the times of the pro turbo and trophy unlimited classes versus the big TT and spec trucks, they also smoked ALL the class 10 cars. Shits getting fast ! ( I totally understand this won’t happen in every race) but very cool to see the...
The feedback has a ton to do with offset of the wheel and your caster and camber settings. before each race we have lone star double check our settings and it work’s awesome 🤷🏼♂️ and it’s Way Way cheaper than X travel. Sims also doesn’t run the X travel and is usually on the podium. (Not V2R...
The only down side of the X Travel is the amount of heims they use and how often those are needing to be changed out. On the pro R it almost numbs the feed back with all the heims. We have had great success with the stock arms modified by lone star and their upper arm.
This happens every freaking day in our trade. This happens a lot when the companies pressure guys for sales. (I’m not saying every company) but there is a large amount of these companies out there.
Yes that’s correct. There’s a couple caveat’s that I’ve heard are sometimes difficult and relate to California mainly. If you have a llc and live in California they say you can’t have your vehicle there for 1 year for some reason, I don’t live in Cali so never looked into why that is. The next...
They said there is a cir clip at the end of the splines but it is very small and seems to have wore down so it wouldn’t hold the axle in place no more That’s why it was pulling out of the diff.
