After I win the lottery I’ll pick up two. One to drive and one to park in front of my house to piss off all the guys who don’t know who Zora was lol.

Really I’d just be happy with a Z06, deep down inside I’m a NA fan.

No plans here. If I were doing a Vette it would be a C1, 2 or 3 in that order. Wife would be on board for a 56/57 in a heartbeat. I wouldn’t dish out the cash for the ZR1 but would never bash a 1,000 hp American muscle car. Gotta be insane to drive.

This one’s gonna hurt some super car feelings.

I’ve never really been a huge vette guy (like gotta have one). I definitely think they’re nice. And damn, do they perform. Pretty amazing actually that GM keeps the prices reasonable compared to the category of vehicles they’ll spank. It’s just too bad they have such a stigma attached to them. It’d almost be better if GM just doubled the price on them. lol.

I was at the havasu marina a few weeks ago and there was a red convertible with the top down parked in the lot. Walked over and looked inside. Fuckin bad ass. Whole lotta bang for the buck, even the standard ones.

As much as I like the sound of the huge HP numbers on the mid-engine car, I'd still rather have a C7 ZR-1. In my opinion, that car is the epitome of what a Corvette should be. Raw V8 power in a front-engine RWD car. 💪

What's with all the hate.
I say it's about time GM flexed some engineering muscle and make a world class performer.
I say Kudos for them.👍
Can they over the years of stigma as Tank notes????
Will I own one, nope. Out of my wheel house..

The only major issue I see with that car is it’s rwd, not all-wheel-drive.

That's what I was shopping for when I bought my Z06, quickly realized my propensity with messing with my cars would diminish its value.
Their value has skyrocketed since the new ones came out.
Decided not to spend so much on a car I had never driven and didn't know if I was going to like it long term.

Their feelings got hurt when Ford released the GT 20ish years ago, the GT ran 213mph and the Z06 ran 212mph, both did that in 5th, they never put them in 6th. This thing is gonna curb stomp them.

They’re actually impressive cars, especially considering the price. But I still think the Germans do it better.

High interest rates, high prices, economy is starting to look cloudy.
GM securing down the hatches to survive.

I could not routinely use even a fraction of that cars potential on the street and keep my license. Much rather have that sort of power in a desert racer or prerunner or boat where you can actually use it and not go to jail. If it's supposed to be a track car, then rather have a single seater with wings and slicks. I don't get the street performance levels being sold today. Are they mostly just bought by posers for bragging rights? Not just the ZR1 but so many other hyper fast street cars. Impressive tech, would look bitchin in a car collection and maybe that's the whole point.

I’m waiting for the Zora edition. Isn’t that where they marry the hybrid drive train to this engine and then it’s AWD…
