I'll miss this years event but that is what I was gunna do. Next year, Thats what im doing if possible.

Guys, I live over 4 hrs from Martinez, I have one spot that I call, pay 650 to stay at, and it sleeps up to 6 couples, the sleeping arrangements for Martinez blow, but the river is the best!
in Yuma town, I have stayed at Holiday in, very nice spot! also the Microtel is a boat friendly spot too, I hear that its nice too.
I dont have any phone numbers, but Google is amazing when you need to find info about lodging a spot.

I did this last year too. I couldnt tell you were we stayed cause we drove all over Freaking Yuam town looking for the place. I know theres a Native New Yorker inside that the waitress was a bit uptight. Maybe it was me. Mayby not. But thats were we crashed. Not much for boat parking. I think Scotten stayed there too. Had a freaking nice CP. Blue n White maybe?.

Wish I could go! Some good peoples there.

My mom lives behind the fry's super market. We have stayed at the Microtel and it is not bad!! About 20 min ride to hidden shores! The parking lot is huge and there is a apple bee's 50 feet away from hotel!!!

We will be staying at the Microhotel. We are leaving Houston on the 6th and will arrive in Yuma about 9:00 am Saturday. Dropping off the kids at the grandparents in Banning first.

sandbars have changed a little bit nothing too bad jets shouldnt have much of a problem when you see sand stay away as far as possible and yes the toolies are the deeper portion of the river just meet up with someone thats been in the area before if youve never been there there will be alot of guys out friday mid day till dark i myself am going to bust my ass at work friday and try and make it out friday later after noon to play with some of the jet boat guys

No, thats a DCB and its an I.O. not a jet, this is the boat that got my wife all gummed up over! I think Kevin (KMG) painted it up though, he did alot of cool shit to this boat! the storage up in the sponson is really a nice attribute as well, along with the seating arrangement
I also saw another 22' (KMG) earlier this summer out at Martinez, I believe it had twin drags and was silver/orange? stunning boat!

Farmer John owes me a phone call BTW!

As much as I would like to have Kevin @ KMG paint anything of mine anytime this 22 was bought as a bare hull by Mark Brink of "Brink Designs".
Mark installed the sponson doors and did the full paint scheme and then let it set for several years never installing or completing it. I bought it as a bare hull, painted with trailer and had it rigged with all the goodies.
Works sweet with the outdrive but as a jet I think it would be a sled.

Dave I've never been before but I understand the activities take place up the river at the sand bar, so I would say by boat
