Maynard borrowed my LL Bean boots and likes them so much I'll never see them again. BTW; LL Bean is open 24/7 365. Quietly he has them stowed away without saying a thing. His mom the same way. They get quiet about your stuff, it's about to become theirs.

In the middle of the night one of the daughters comes into our room, the dresser drawer opens and she collects shirts for her sleep over GFs to wear. The Eddies Auto Parts and Nitro Circus and "I voided My warranty at RiverDaves place" shirts never came back. 95 lb girls in 2X shirts PJ's, works perfectly.

Back when gold was $65 an oz I bought a Mickey Mouse solid gold money clip. Weighed more that a Gold Rolex watch. Really heavy with a sculpture of Mickey on the side in gold. Never tarnishes, has presence in the room when ya bust it out.

Never told the daughter she could'nt have it nor she could but did/does she ever love it. It turned up missing. One day at Foxes she busted it out with a stack of lettuce clipped to it and she bought a round. I'll never see that again.

Was looking at those mini-mini notebook Laptops at COSTCO and the $800 to $1100 price turned me away.
Stumbling thru Wal Mart they had nice candy hot rod purple ones for $99. Handing it to me the clerk asked "are you expecting to game with this?" OK, not the power of the expensive Minis, but fit my needs.

Wife confiscated that first use. Works for her Zoom meetings and all the other mom stuff. Fits in her purse perfectly, super lite weight. I'll never see it again.

So you ever loose stuff to the family?

Kid came over last week to see the wife. Road his motorcycle the 3 minutes from his house to ours Ina t-shirt. it was the first cold day of the year. Tells the wife he is cold and goes into my closest and grabs one of my nice new flannel shirts. I just laugh knowing he is not going to return. If I go grab it it will have been worn 20 times in the week and left on his floor in the pile of clothes. At least that is how it happened when he was growing up. Mayb e this one will be found nicely hung up in his closet. 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣

I have also learned that if I really like the shirt it is in my best interest to buy him one too. 👍

Nah. Wife and daughter in this house. They do not want to drive a manual trans, don't want to drive a lowered truck, and don't have interest in riding trick mountain bikes or driving boats. Surely not taking my clothes or shoes.

They just take money. They're good at that. I don't ask questions for answers I don't want to hear...

Anything in the house is fair game...but we all live under the same roof for now. My boys are bigger than me now, so most clothes aren't going to fit, and they wouldn't like my plain shirts anyway.

The toolboxes, they have access to. If it doesn't come back though, it may be the start of Sharia law here, and they know it. Walked in once and wife and daughter are making earings...three pair of SnapOn needle-nose on the table
Wife asked where she could buy some...she bought some at Harbor Freight, and those went back in the box🤣

I’m over here laughing at this one 😂 my daughters can chase any tool I need out of both roll aways. Came home and my youngest was making jewelry with snap on needle nose😂 we had to have “the talk”

Apple cords, portable batteries, and Food.

I actually put the Pure Protein bars I like in my office, top shelf so my daughter cant reach them. She's gone for days on end with her boyfriend or her Dog sitting service. So she loads up as she heads out the door.

Apparently we fund all the food around here weather they are home or not.

Bought a new car. Drove it for about 3 weeks until my wife's car got sideswiped. While her car is in the shop she borrowed mine, and I didn't get it back for 80k miles.

Phone chargers. I buy them, put them in every car, in all the rooms, and there’s never one around when my phone is low.
Running joke with my
Family…my phone is always dead/dying. Chargers no where to be found…

Oldest went to the dark side so my android chargers won't work anymore. I dress like a bum so my clothes are safe. Truck is to big, my old ass avalon is a rag so no one but me drives them. Got most of my stuff covered.

… No real kids of my own, but neighbor girl is the daughter I never had… Nothing ever disappears… Which goes to prove I have poor taste in everything…
… When I was in the hospital, neighbor girl and her boyfriend had free reign of my house and all my toys… they used a lot of my stuff…But for some strange reason everything pretty much got put back where it originated…Dunno???…
…Neighbor girl has one of my credit cards which she carries with her… I check every month, expecting her to buy some thing for her self or her boyfriend… But she doesn’t???… when we go places like to pick something up from 31 flavors or some El Salvidorian food to go… or pizza..I think twice she has said, can I use the card???… And if some business. should try to cheat her…. They had better look out…. I guess I taught her don’t let people take advantage of you.???…

When we were kids , I’m always an overpacker, so my brother typically underpacked and then either went through my bag for clothes or borrowed my razor. He never asked, I’d just see him wearing shirts etc I knew he didn’t own or I’d find my razor unrinsed. So I put a lock on my suitcase and solved that.

For the most part he doesn’t do it now but his clothes are still atrocious, lots of old worn out stuff full of holes.

3 daughters here.

My T shirts, most swag I’ve gotten from work, favorite beach towels, some of my camping equipment. Mostly I don’t care.

No daughters, but wife.
Yup.
Mostly Tee shirts.
Long time ago I bought a handful of shirts with "SHERIFF" across the back and our dept name and badge deal on left chest pocket.
Black and white, and I wore the black ones during summer on special details.
Didn't notice they were gone until I reaching into my closet and there weren't none. Was getting ready for work one night, special detail.
(I hang my "good "Tee shirts up...old habit. And only wood hangers, yes, weird, I know)
WTF?
I looked in the hamper, nope..in laundry room, nope.
Wifey comes into the bedroom and says "whatcha looking for?"
I am fumbling around in the dresser now...
"My damn black SO Tee shirts, I have about 4 of them cant find one"
I turn around...she is wearing one...Looks like a dress on her...(I am 6-3-1/2, she is 5-2.)
I got two back.
She kept the one she was wearing and one other. They were on her side of the closet...she didn't want the white ones...I dunno.

Phone chargers. My son would take them all the time. I finally took a sharpie and put my initials on it. He still took them, but then I could find them and take it back. It kind of became a game.

Neighborhood kids use to raid our pantry. We didn't have much food when i was growing up, so I always kept it well stocked. I ended up putting a lock on the beer fridge and on 1 cabinet that I would keep stuff I liked.

My son broke his electric scooter. I told him he should ride my Big Ripper around. Now it’s all he rides, he learned how to wheelie in about a week. I don’t think I’ll ever get it back. I should wrap it up and give it to him for Xmas. He’s rolling around on a $1,000 bike and I didn’t even get call it a gift.

Haha boat excluded. The son knows damn well he’s never going to get the chance to borrow it and not bring it back.
