Pretty sure this guy just said F it, and simplified his life.. lol

not sure I could do it, but some days the freedom of it sounds appealing.

A guy in Vancouver lives in his RV. He has a popular YouTube channel on his lifestyle. Id like to drive across the US in a RV someday.

Something along the lines of what Steve bought recently so you can camp along the way or have the occasional hotel stop with free breakfast.....and wifi

Not at that level. I like having a home base, especially with kids.
Telling the business end of life to F' off is kind of nice though. Save a bunch on antacids and blood pressure meds.

Constantly
I’ve been in a union for 30 straight years. I can buy a piece of shit rv and sit on my ass until I die. But that sounds horrible.
But some people love it, this is probably one of those types.

I am transitioning to a simplified life. Used to have the big house, pool, turn the diesel pusher around in the backyard. With my youngest almost into college we are getting ready. Bought a 2bd/2bath in BHC for cash, changed job positions that lets me work virtual and fly where I need to. Bullhead is close enough to McCarran airport for flights. Been selling off the Glamis toys and huge toyhauler, selling off all the excess stuff that just sits on the shelf or in the garage with gas rotting the lines, getting rid of all the old clothes and just keep the newest minimum amount needed. Once the daughter is off to college this year we will off the SoCal house and move to BHC full time with zero Mortgage and cheap utilities and gas. We are gonna give it two years and then decide if its the lifestyle for us. I might change my screen name to Bullhead Baller LOL!!

I'd want a home base too. Maybe rent a house somewhere along the rv wandering route, snowbird style. I do not want to just sit around and get fat, lol.

I'm attempting to cross that line and liquidate some accumulated crap. Wife and I have both "threatened" a handful of times to tackle our catchall room and get rid of worthless crap. We talk about it at breakfast then by time we get up we have no drive to get started.....LOL:D

Had the same thought when I saw this parked at the WalMart parking lot in Page last year and thought man I wonder how long he plans to be on Powell in that thing.

Wife and I moved from 4000+sqf to a shade under 2000...that forced a modification to excess interior type stuff. Enough so as to have all the furnishings for the river pad. Weird, but worked out pretty good.

It will most likely coincide with an unplanned divorce.

My Divorce in 2015 started the ball rolling by having to sell houses and pull the reins in. During the rebuilding I thought why do I wanna do this again. It ended up miserable before.

When I moved to havasu I did a lot of garage sale and donations to whoever would take it. Got rid of a lot of stuff.

Once the youngest is off to college, wife and I are selling main house and traveling in an RV.
We will purchase a small townhouse somewhere tax friendly and grandkid friendly.

I could easily see us selling main house and moving into condo in Carlsbad Village while youngest is still in house.

Sorry to hear. Several friends have gone thru it. Never seems like much fun. I’m torn. The simple life seems fantastic some days. Others, not so much.

I have been a dreamer , my entire life .
I like making my dreams come .

...I have done it many times... the key to being successful at it...is to have somewhere where you can land and rest up for a month or so..,so you don’t feel like you’re on the road all the time with the idiots that are out there...Fortunately I have had a 100 acres above Lake Oroville to land on..,

To get back to the sprit of this post. A friend got divorced, threw pretty much everything he owned in a dumpster and lived at La Paz for over a year. Most of the time sleeping in the back of a truck. He ended up buying an old trailer and now works for another park. But yeah, he said F it!

She'll be voting Republican before she is 30.
Well spoken and seems to at least know how to explain her decisions like a hot stove surrounded by wood.
Overall I give her a 7.1, but she did not explain the door locks, alarms or self defense.
If she rolled up at the beach when I was 23, I would have noticed the lack of condom dispensary.

Yes all the time but my version comes with a place in Wyoming.
Everytime I make the drive to Colorado along the 15 I start checking Zillow and RedFin for all the little towns along the way. My spot will probably easy be west range of Colorado, or South end of Utah.

Where in Wyoming would be your go to spot?

My cousin just did this. Sold everything moved to a cabin in Montana. I could not do it.
