Kids today are spoiled at home and at school. For a long time kids are passed to the next grade even if they are failing. It is almost impossible to get suspended. Teachers have little to say about discipline and when they do helicopter parents step in and cause problems. people say our school is a honor school. BS most public schools are a giant bureaucratic mess. Public school is nothing like Mater Dei. Sad

In 1995 at Edison High a friends boy did nothing and cut over 60 days in one year.. They gave him make up work which looked like 5th grade work. He completed with the help of his parents and graduated. This has been going on for years. tThis is nothing new!

I may or may not have completed a similar challenge in 85’. @ArizonaKevin ’s uncle might have completed a class for me.. It has been going on for awhile but it’s definitely getting worse. Standards drop a bit every year.

Yes every year they keep lowering the standards and taking power away from the teachers. In Clark County whis is huge just implemented New grading standards which really lowers standards.

When my daughter was in high school she was making bank tutoring the schools best athletes. My daughter was tutoring 3 students per session X $15 an hour. When it was all said and done she made a decision to never to date an athlete...
